Over the Thanksgiving Holiday, my son and I were killing a few hours at a local store. Four people come to the table and are watching, about two decks to go. Usual ploppy comments from the watchers, "Wait for a new shoe, don't want to change 'the flow of the cards' for these guys; never surrender, should have insured that hand (19) against the delaer's ace" etc.
New deal and two of the watchers take the first two seats. Comment to me, "Follow our lead and we'll make you some money; we went to a class and have a system". My son asks what system and they tell him they don't want to mention it because they may not be allowed to play, but offer that they had gone to this class for two whole days and have videos".
I notice that one of the remaining watchers is carrying a folder and written on it are the words "Michael Davids". I tell my son to color up because I'm tired. We color up and just stand and watch. I have the feeling that these new players are going to infuriate the remaining players and the two new ones who took our places and draw the attention of the PB.
The "graduates" each buy in for $500 and the fun begins. Without getting into detail, their plays are causing a commotion with the other players at the table.
The show was better than any stand-up routine I've ever seen, and my feeling came to fruition, screaming, threats and commotion drew the attention of the PB and security.
