Default German Tesla owner cracks the 100,000 KM

The little car that could just keeps rolling along. Critics bitched about the battery life of the Roadster, but a German man recently surpassed 100,000 KMs in his Roadster, the first owner to report such usage.
In other news, the company is closing in on it's 5,000th deposit for its new S Model , due out next summer.

Tesla did not go bankrupt. I don't know about sueing any magazines.
If You think its nothing but a toy, I can't help that. I suppose some people think the IPhone is a great tip calculator.

Roadster is about $110,000. About middle of the road for that type of performance car.
Model S should be about $50,000. A comparable Porshe is about $80,000
and the Volvo hybred is projected between $45,000 and 55,000K

I don't know about magazines, but I'm pretty sure they sued Top Gear over their review of the car. I think part of it related to the battery life claimed on the show. Tesla said they had the data logs from the car and it wasn't fully charged to begin the testing, IIRC. I think there were some other issues as well. Top Gear was not exactly kind with their review.

I wasn't aware of this but did some reading the last few minutes.
My friend routinely makes the ride down to Laughlin and back to Summerlin in his, and thats a bit under 200 miles. He was a little apprehensive the first time he did it, but he's gone over 240 miles on a single charge, even though the stated range is about 220. Biggest obstacle is that no sane person wants to sit in a car that small for that long. He's about to crack 10,000 miles on his.

It wouldn't feel more cramped than most decent sports cars of that class.
The quite would definitely be less fatiguing. zg

Tesla is a publicly traded company. Not hard to find its financials.
Its ticker is TSLA.
