Now that he's been arrested, this is exactly what I was alluding to way back when. Russell would show up 5 nights a week at a certain well known steak House (on Van Ness, with Prime Rib as its specialty), eat a few slabs of beef, and ask the bartender for ice and Sprite. He'd add this to the Styrofoam cup he'd bring, and then spike it with the cognac and Codeine cough syrup he'd pack along. Then he'd head out front, smoke a blunt, come back in, rinse, repeat.

Yes, he packed his own Styrofoam cup, Henny, and Codeine. That's the way you do it in the Dirty South. Either Styrofoam, or a baby bottle. Jolly Ranchers are optional. See link below for a helpful instructional and entertaining video.
