Wendover vs. Reno
My lady and I are roadtripping about right now. Gotta make a decision. stay in wendover then go south, or go to Reno then head north. Which town has less heat, better SD games for the red/green chipper?

There is no place like Wendover.
Please be reasonable there. I believe the reason it has been so good for so long is that AP's don't abuse it. Reno has some good games but is very hot, and you have a stopover in Elko. There is a stopover in Mesquite on the way to Las Vegas.

You should at least teach her how to backcount so that she's not just slowing you down.

Wendover has some truly wonderful games, yes, but there are only (IMHO) three playable stores there. Not too bad if you do a short session each shift at each one, for a total of 9 hit-and-runs per day.
Reno has a few similar games, but many more casinos overall. The rest are D10 (or D9) . . . these games can also be beat, however, just keep your sessions short (~30 min) and don't get too crazy with your spread. There is also more to do in Reno (eg several first-run movie theaters, bowling, lol) unless you don't mind driving to Salt Lake City. You'll do great my man!

Correct, three playable stores. You are surely aware those stores share an owner, but know that they also share surveillance. One room watching all three properties. Just FYI.

I've gone to the casino with a girl who would start acting needy and pull me away from the game on my signal, and turn her back on me (also on my signal) and in disgust I'd go back to the game. We did that all night, it was a lot more fun than faking a cell phone call.

I'd say the 4th SD store is playable, but with a bit more heat. And lots of fun can be had at the Red Gutter! It's a good place to experiment with unorthodox tactics.
