Final Thoughts
I've been here for about 4 years now. I migrated over from the online poker and casino business when that went to hell after UIGEA in 2006.
I've learned a ton about this game, almost all of it from this site and the people I've met here. I got involved in a team through guys I met here, learned about some advanced plays, and have made some money off of this. I've also gotten to take free trips all over the country, and had a blast doing it.
My caution to everyone is to remember what really matters in life. You can make all the money in the world, be the best AP ever, and have the respect and admiration of your peers. But, as the good book says "What good will it be for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul?"
Remember to be a spiritual person, and get that part of your life straight. Remember your family, and remember to give back, both to your community, and to others who are just learning to play. Remember that this is only a game, and that there are far more important things in life than making money.
