Getting better drinks with Diamond Cards

Ok people. Everyone on here told me I could get Johnny Walker Blue with my Diamond Card and it was NOT happening!

I tried at every single harrahs place and I kept getting "No, black is the best we have."

I asked in the Diamond Lounge and the bartender told me "Yeah, black is the best we have around."

What gives??? And I was betting large amounts too!

They probably don't stock it. Most bars don't. That's the kind of thing that gets ripped off. But I regularly get Glenlivet as a Diamond, try that instead.

Yeah that definitely does work, we got that all the time.

I asked for a Corona at one place (not Harrahs) and they were like "Oh, no, we only do draft beers". Then she saw I was betting $25/hand and said "You always bet this much? Ok, I can get you a Corona".

One time I was at a non-HET casino in AC, asked for a single-malt brand I knew they stocked. Waitress comes back, and I spit it out as quickly as I pour it into my mouth

"Oh, they didn't have any more of that, so I got you Dewar's." Then she cops an attitude like I'm the one who did something stupid. The problem was I don't even think it was Dewar's, tasted much worse than even that, probably just some cheap rail whiskey they serve to the people that they don't care if they come back.

I am not a big drinker. I usually order amaretto and orange juice if I decide to have a drink at the tables. It is nothing fancy but I like it. Lately I have been getting some weird concoctions. Definitely not what I ordered or the same thing every time. I go to a club afterwards and order a mixed drink and the bartender doesn't even know how to make it. I have fairly simple tastes. Good bourbon on the rocks if I want something strong.

My sister has all the really expensive stuff. She serves up the 200 year and I tell her not to waste it on me since I can't taste a difference from the cheap stuff. After being told to shut up and drink it enough times I just do that. Good port or scorch is a different matter altogether. I don't like scotch generally but when some really good stuff is put in front of me it is quite tasty. The same goes for port. Most of it doesn't taste good to me but top shelf port is delicious. I don't know who these places think they are going to fool this way. If my untrained palate can taste such a big difference how much more would someone who is a connoisseur of the alcohol in question.
