I should have had a casino go up about 12 miles from my house but the town voted nay. Now the closest I have is 40 miles.

Well, I was waiting to the last minute to see if I was going to be able to make the Bash. I finally got my business sold which is great, but now I have to go work on the road for a few weeks here and there coming up and I can't make it

Hopefully the next time around!

Default issue 3 pass's in Ohio

Senator George V. Voinovich (R-OH) has released the following statement on Issue 3:

"I am terribly disappointed. As a result of the passage of Issue 3 there will be a great deal of pain and suffering in Ohio - I feel for the families of those who will experience casinos for the first time in their lives and, once lured in, will become addicted to gambling. ....

You ever notice that Republicans are all about the "free market" until they decide their morals are better than yours.

If he is so worried lower the tax rate on casinos and force them by law to have a low house edge on all games, ban 6.5, csm, 8d, and a few other rip-offs.

Don't confuse Republicans with conservatives.
