Hi everyone.
I would like to ask about the first formula of the four new ones that BJA presents on its 3th edittion (pag 136), called Double Barrier formulas.
This formula yields the probability of reach a goal before going broke, given a certain time constraint.
So, the second term of this first formula contains an infinit serie.
I looked through my math book, seeking out if it serie is a kind of geometric or power serie, etc; to get the final sum, but I couldn't figure it out.
So the question is, how to solve the equation?
Thanks form Argentina.
Alvaro
