I've noticed that Cipher's blackjack forum continues to rack up members. Just a couple of weeks ago, membership there was below 600. Now it is at 623. I can't believe that his site gets these new members just from Google searches. He must be active on some other smaller gambling/blackjack forums or he is faking memberships.

I understand completely and I do NOT have a NDA. :)
I have a copy of the Cipher System that Cipher sent me labeled "Cipher 1.1.1".
I'm going to download it onto my new computer, just to be sure it works properly and if it does who ever wants a copy is welcome to it.
I'll let you know how the download and the test (play money only) works.

If anyone does want a copy and uses it, I MUST STRESS that you should only use it in a PLAY MONEY mode only.

Also, if Zen or any of the other Executive Members, Administrator's, etc feel that I should NOT be doing this, then I will NOT allow anyone to have a copy.
How big is the file? If it isn't too big, it might be easiest to throw it up on a tinyurl or something.

Admin's permitting, of course.

Cipher has a blog (Dead link: http://www.theblackjackblog.com/) _here._ He claims that due to the UIEGA legislation that he mainly does daily consulting with overseas clients. He is also promoting Heroes Casino.

Cipher, the man, the legend...

Have any of you watched any of his "amazing demo" videos? I found it amusing. To someone who has never palyed blackjack in their life it would all seem plausible, maybe. (These are also the same sorts of people that have been raked into infomercial "get rich in 14 days in real esate" scams is all). I feel bad for them.

To watch the demo video is to see things foreign to anything you have done in 30 years of playing blackjack! His narrative where he talks you through and terminology---"Okay, we now have a 9 of spades...". 9 of SPADES? WTF is the difference whether it's a heart, a spade, etc. in the game of blackjack...a 9 is a 9 is a 9...?????? He calls out the suits of each card and his "system" notes and indicates there is a significance to the suits of the cards. But it only gets better!!! Learning new terminology such as "switchback", "mirror play" and other odd things that you have never heard of makes you sit on the edge of your seat waiting for the "double-sneak switchback flip mirror play" to occur....

It's all so ridiculous that it's amazing. He uses a progression betting system based on previous wins/losses and hypes it up to look like something of significance. Like any whizbang BS system, the only people that will profit in the long run are the seller of the system and the casinos the system is used in!

Cheeseburger play...

The Amazing Cipher System!

Check this out guys!!! There's this whizbang blackjack guy, the most amazing I've ever seen that has cracked the codes to online casinos, specifically BoDog and is making millions for everyone! I am going to get on the bandwagon and sent him a big chunk of my bankroll, maybe 50,000 or so so I can skip having to to to the casino as much and merely stroll out to the mailbox to pick up my 15% skim of the profits each month!
Okay...I am lying. I started reading the Cipher stuff on here which led me to about 30 pages of message board stuff on another gambling forum which led me to more of the same showing that this guy has swindled lots of people out of lots of money, telling them how he would give them a 15% return per month (the amounts vary and possibly the deals he cut but the end result is all the same with no one seeing a dime) and taking their money from all appearances. It also led me to his still quite active website where he is selling his amazing system for $600...get 'em while they're hot...limited supply!!!hahaha
I go on the website...and wonder how much I can see or find out (without having to pay $600 bucks). Sure enough, there are "demonstration videos" in which he shows his amazing system in action that he gives a narrative as he goes. I watched 3 of the videos and I am wondering if anyone else has.
Each demo video shows one "session" of 30 hands. He starts playing using this software and is plugging in cards played...to INCLUDE the suits of the cards. At first what would go through your mind is that suits of cards have NO relevance in blackjack. A facecard is a facecard whether it's a heart or a spade...it's all the same; So maybe one is led to believe that the suits of the cards have relevance in this "cracking of the RNG" as far as a pattern? The more you see and the farther he goes, you see he is simply doing a betting progression but the amusing part is the narrative using phrases and terms like "building hamburgers"(maybe he worked in a fast food joint at one time), "switchback", "stairstep" and a few others as he is doing a betting progression.
You start to see not only is this a betting progression method but also he is seriously "out of tune" with the RNG predictability factor when he has a fat bet out there, like 150 and hitting a stiff and breaking and then dropping all the way back down to $1 and getting a blackjack on his $1 bet. I was thinking to myself, "What was that?? The ol' "switchback doublesneak stairstep cheeseburger play?????"
Anyone that has not watched a few of these videos needs to do it because they are every bit as wild as the roulette money making machine with the 2 speed automatic transmission. I hear that for an extra $4000 I can get the turbocharged model though.
I think everyone should have REQUIRED READING on what this guy named Arnold Snyder has to say about gambling gurus selling systems of any kind. He lays it out in a very straight forward manner and if everyone that got zapped by this guy read Arnold Snyders thoughts on "foolproof systems that require no counting" they never would have been duped.

Ps - Hey LiquidChips, did you ever get your money back?
Nope, never got a dime. I don't know of Cipher has traced the hits to his site back to this thread but he has closed the cipherblackjack.com only to "members with the proper credentials." Maybe he closed it to only me by identifying my computer ID or closed it to those originating within US. I wonder if someone from Japan or elsewhere can still access his site?

Refresh my memory: Cypher wrote here on the board that he couldn't give you the money back and the
winnings because it wasn't your to request - it actually belonged to your sainted departed mother, correct? zg

^^I had power of attorney to management her funds and the bank account was in both of our names. But Cipher didn't say anything about not returning the money because it wasn't mine. He just didn't want to pay it because I went public that he took the money and ran. Yes, I was hoping to get a better return for her than the measly interest from banks and stuff. Some deal that turned out to be! : (
