I was playing at a $50 table for a few hours today and across from me saw a guy in in his 70's SITTING at the $100 table today and NOT playing. He was just spectating. He was not with any of the players. Found this kinda strange and was watching as a couple of the plops rang up big wins. The old guy is high fiving after each winning hand like he was actually playing himself and giving instructions on how to play hands etc.
I knew what was going on as he was hustling the table as their "good luck charm".
Sure enough the one plop cashes out over $15K and flips the old guy 3 blacks. Nice work if you can get it. then he tries to squeeze into my table and I give him a nasty look and tell him we are all full up. How a casino tolerates this is beyond me. Someone says he comes in every day and does the same thing.
