Any thoughts on a strategy that reduces bet with minus tc's?
The strategy is off the top bet three units; bet 2 units with tc<-1; bet 1 unit with tc<-2; bet up to 9 units with positive counts in line with the counting system you play (so with positive counts, you have a 3 to 1 bet spread). "Overall" you "effectively" have a 9 to 1 bet spread but end up playing zero counts with 3 units.
The rational for this betting strategy is to reduce chances of being barred by keeping the high bet (9 units) only three times your bet off the top after a shuffle. Yet, in a sense, you have a 9 to 1 bet spread. I play Uston's Advanced Point Count against 2-deck games.
