Just found out tonight that all of the high limit blackjack games ($25+ double deck, I believe H17 RSA, Double first 2) are all Surrender games. They (apparently) changed that rule back in October or November.

They must be hurting! But I thought the DD games were on the main floor and the High Stakes room was mostly 4d?

Yeah - you're probably right. I play $10-15 per hand, and I didn't scope out the high stakes area, so I'm not positive what they deal up there. But yes, there are 3 tables on the main floor that are double deck.
And hurting? I guess it's all relative, but there were 3-4 people min. on every table tonight when i was there...even the 8 deck, $10 min table on the main floor was packed

So which tables are offering surrender then? The 3-4 designated tables on the main floor and all the tables in high stakes? And I have to admit I think that's kind of clever how they advertise the "8 DECKS!" tables...

ummmm....I can think of 3 or 4 on the main floor, plus one on the "side" floor - on the other side of the casino, plus all of the High Stakes - so that's 4 or 5 non-high stakes plus 14? in the High Stakes?
I think it's super funny to see people flocking around that 8 Deck table at all times. Poor fools

What are the tables min's and max's?
Pen is usually right around 75-80% I believe - I never have taken a good look...I can try to ask around next time I'm out there

Min/Max on the main floor: the only 8 deck is usually $5, sometimes $10 on weekends; 6 deck games start out at $5 and will go up to $10 (again on the weekends/busy times); 4 decks are $10 or $15, although I have seen a couple at $25 min during very busy weekends; the double deck games are almost always $25 min. Max bet everywhere except the high stakes area is always $199.
There is another blackjack pit in a different part of the casino - all tables are 6 deck except one or two that are 8 deck - most run $5 or $10 min and again have that $199 max.
For those looking for a bargain, they offer $3 min on a couple tables Monday mornings
Anything else anybody wants to know? I'll get back to you on the pen when I can :)

im tempted to call BS on the "all surrender" in high stakes but i havent been there in a few months so i guess things could have changed but i doubt it...

BTW... pen is "GOOD" we'll just leave it at that.

I was playing at a table on Wednesday night when the floor supervisor came up to look at the BS card that I leave on the table, behind a cup holder. she noticed that I had only one "Surrender" play on my card ( I used Paint to take out all the Surrender options b/c I usually don't play it, but missed one spot) and that's when she told me that all high stakes went to Surrender rules.

Fair enough. A very interesting move. Maybe they've started to realize that the more options you give a ploppy, the more bad decisions they will make.

I haven't seen any non DD tables at $25 min in a long, long time. Granted I don't go there all the time.

I was just saying that because I don't know what the minimums are in the mornings - 6am to noon because I am never there. I suppose there's a chance the table mins are lower then? i really don't know

DD is always $25 min. I was just saying I haven't seen a 4D on the main floor above $15 in a couple years. But then when I play on weekends I usually go during day or graveyard shifts.
