okay this involves playing VBJ, or any machine for that matter, but i prefer VBJ. now i've lost money in the past year martingaling VBJ on the 3-2 machines that dont shuffle every hand when the count is plus, and flat bet the minimum when i think its minus. not sure why im behind, but i think its cause u cant tell for sure when it shuffles (meaning u arent sure when to surrender etc) and because i bet too much for my meager roll trying to get unstuck. BUT THE GOOD NEWS IS MOST OF THE LOSSES (ABOUT $10K) IVE GOT BACK IN FREE HOTEL ROOMS, WHICH IS WHY IVE LIVED IN THE CASINOS FREE FOR THE LAST YEAR. and i win enough in poker to overcome those losses and still grow my roll. also my betting system is messed up, instead of doubling every hand, i should bet small on +1 counts and bigger on plus 5 counts and up. but when the shoes been negative for 300 hands, and finally it goes to +1, i feel like betting more than i should to recover a lot of small $1 losses.

now that the backgrounds out of the way, here's my question. i think ive finally for the first time found a decent VBJ machine in a small casino almost no one knows about. on a certain weekday, they give 5x points. on the 5x points day, u get back 1%-2% in cashback or comps on ur slot card. and VBJ with correct play, even without counting, with the right rules and 3-2 payouts and surrender allowed, is only about 50c on every $100 in the houses favor anyway, so this would make the machine pay over 100% on that day.

now of course the proper way to play that machine would be to flat max bet $100 and play about 200 hands per hour to win over $100 an hour if u had a large roll of say $50k. naturally i dont have that kind of roll, so i still vary my bets between $1 and $100 depending on what i think the count is (sign on the machine says its shuffles 2 3rds of a 6 deck shoe). and if its paying over 100% with the promo, its to my advantage for my bets to total as much as possible.

question is my rolls about $13,000 is all, and i dont really want to risk dropping more than $1000-2000 cause i want to hold over $10k for poker at $1-2 No limit at all times. thats what i play all the time, 30 buyins of 300 each so i dont ever have to worry about going busted. so with that roll and that amount i want to risk, im not sure how much to bet if i chose to flat bet for the promo instead of betting according to the count. any advice as to whether to bet $10 a hand $25 a hand, or maybe some other amount? id like to win the max amount in cashback or freeplay possible on the day of the promo, without risking too much of the roll, and id like someone better at math than me to give me a general idea what i should win per hour if the promo is giving me about 1-2% back

i dont want everyone in vegas knowing which casino this is, but if anyone wants to PM me and is willing to go there with me, i might go just so u can watch and make sure im playing correctly if u promise to not give out the location to all ur friends. (i dont want anyone coming in betting big, and having the promo end).

for every 1000 points u get $10 cashback or freeplay, and with 5x points 200 points is 1000 points. which means putting $600 thru the machine gives $10 cashback, which puts the machine at about 101% payback
