I'll be passing through the area tomorrow afternoon. If you'll list your questions here, I can give you a complete report. :)

Anyone have a report on Hard Rock in Albuquerque? I know in Vegas they only have decent rules once you hit the $100 tables.
Most tables (15) 6-deck, S17, DAS, RS3, LS w/ lousy 1.7 pen. Worthless 6:5 1-deck. 2-deck (3 tables) S17, DAS, RS3 w. good 0.7 pen. Haven't been there for a year, but these games were best in the area then and appear still to be. Some heat then, as Isleta, but now under management of Hard Rock, so you're on your own there.

Cheers,

Warrior, thanks for the info. It sounds like it's at least worth giving a look.

Sucker, I'd be interested in knowing what level you have to play to get away from CSMs, if any of the games have LS and RSA, any restrictions on doubling, pen on six decks, and how much action they'd like to comp a room. (I'm assuming there'll be no decent 2D--probably 6:5 with no RSA or surrender.)

And do they have Hell's Belles dealing, as in Vegas (not that that makes any difference, but it is fun.)

I'm hitting Vegas next week, and am thinking of coming back through New Mexico.

Thanks,
BJBH

Nothing much has changed since BJWarrior went through. The shoes allow RSA, the DD does pay 3:2 on BJ, although the pen was only 50-60%. They DO have a "baby doll" pit with scantily clad dealers, but it's only open on weekends.

I have played in and around Albuquerque for years. I have walked away with $10,000 from Isleta at least 7 times. I have also won at Sandia, Hollywood Casino, and Rout 66. I have never noticed any problems with the dealers or the pit bosses. I have also played in Los Vegas, and here in Colorado, at Black Hawk; as well as off shore on a cruse. I won enough to have payed for the cruse for me and my wife. I am planning to going to Buffallo Thunder in Pajuaque, Can any one give me any insight on this casino. I have never been there.
