Going down 900 and winning it all back and some

This was a crazy session. A high roller buddy of mine who also counts (I use wong halves and he uses opt II) has recently started letting me play FOR and WITH him with HIS money. His bankroll exceeds 50K i believe. We only play at the low limit tables, pretty crappy for his BR but it goes 5-100. Our strategy was anything below a true 1 we bet the min, true 1 bet 10, true 2 bet 25, true 3 bet 50, and true 4 bet 100. Anything higher and we bet 2 hands of 100, and anything extremely high and rare we get 3 hands of 100 out there. This is a 4 deck ES (only vs a 10, ace there is no surrender) and dealer takes only original bet if they get a blackjack (no hole card).

So we hit the tables after scouting around for decent dealers (good pen and whatnot) and finally found our table. It was a grind at first, we kept losing our big bets or surrendering a lot of them, although we seemed like it we weren't too frustrated, just a bit unhappy with the silly variance. Whenever we get our max bets out and our first card is an ace, it never pairs up with a face or 10... Not even getting a solid hand, we gotta work for our money tonight haha. Then the first big run came, we're down roughly 900 at this point and I'm betting 100 on my spot, he's got 100 on his (our bets varied slightly over the night due to different systems) but this was the time to do it, it was about true 7 for me and we got 20's and 19's all over, the dealer broke 3 hands in a row and we were betting the same way, surrendered once, then BAM blackjacks for both of us, they finally paired up. Now after this sick run (happened in 1 shoe) we're only down 20 bucks. We feel great at this point.
We decide to take a break for coffee and water so we change up our chips and get cash from the cashier.
After our little break, some kind of event at the casino just fisnished up and gamblers pour into the casino all over. The table we were playing at fills up so we ask the pit boss if they can open up 1 more for us. He calls the staff room and a dealer is on the way.

So we sit down and wait patiently for the dealer and boss to check the cards, the dealer shuffles up and the shoe begins. the first 2 or 3 hands were rich in 5's and 6's and 4's and all kinds of useless small cards, the count went to a true 2 so quickly and we both won our $25 bets about 4 hands in a row, including a double down. Now we're finally up a bit. The TC reaches 4 and we both go to our own spots of 100, both lose... No worries keep playing. We get lucky on the next hand as I have an 18 and he has 17 vs a face. What does the dealer pull? a 7, another 100 for me. Here's the money maker... I have a pair of face cards vs the dealers 6, my tc is well above 7 so yes I would like to split plz kthx. I get another face, resplit, another face RESPLIT, now i have 400 on the table and can't split anymore (4 splits max) so I wave my hand at everything I get on my 10's (first one gets a 6, next one a 9, next 2 gets faces). Buddy boy next to me (also betting 100 of course) has soft 14, and against a 6 double that **** anyday. He pulls a beautiful 5, omg 5's never looked so tasty. Now for the dealers hand... He pulls a 10 and is hitting 16... next card OMG that looks like a 5 please god no... it's a 6! dealer busts with 22! PAY THE ****IN TABLE! So in that one hand we scooped $600, 200 from his double and 400 from my multi split.
The next hand his tc must have been just below a 3 cuz now he's betting 30 but im still at a 7.5 tc probably due to the one 5 and 2 6's pulled last hand, so i stick with my 100 bet. Im dealt a 20 and he is dealt a 19, vs a dealer 9. we both stick, dealer pulls a face card. so his little 30 bet pushes while my 100 is a winner haha. The shoe is done and we decide our session is done.

The final count after that is that we are up a total of $730, after tipping the dealer $12.50. we usually split it 1/3 for em and the rest for him, so he hands me $220. We celebrate by eating some chicken burgers and talking about our sick comeback. All in all it was a great session, somewhat short but very very eventful, so much action. I tell him my speed has improved greatly, which is good for wong halves, and his opt II is getting solid.
To wrap it up, it's a very nice thing, in fact it's a gift, to have a rich friend who will bankroll me and let me play as if I had his masher BR. I usually never bet higher than green and this black chip action is definately exciting for me.
Not to mention i get 1/3 of our profits, and if we happen to lose he told me whatever, it's a loss, **** happens. Good friends and good counters are rare to come by people, cherish every one of them.
Hope you enjoyed

He usually splits 1/3 of the profits for you? Do you just not get paid in the event of a loss? If so you have an unbelievable deal and you need to play for this guy as much as you can before he figures out how much he's getting robbed.

Yeah we generally split it up so i get %30 and if we take a loss then we take a loss, I lose nothing. To be honest I think this guy is testing me... Because he has some investors who are gonna basically match his BR and he wants me to play with him so I'm sort of suspicious he's just testing me, seeing if my game is solid enough and all that. And clearly it is boys and girls
