Wong in/out questions

#1
Lately I've been back counting the shoe until it gets positive then jump in as I have limited bankroll and the game that my local casino offers is not very good (6D, 70-72% Pen, .63% HE). The best part about my local casino is that they have 10+ acceptable min. bet tables operate most time of the day, so it is not too hard to find a table that has +TC's. My question is that let's say the total edge I have to the game is just 1% given the HE, pen, my spread, etc. This 1% edge was calculated using the fact that I don't wong out when TC becomes negative. Now if I wong in to the good shoe and wong out from the bad. How much higher of edge should I expect? This 1% also doesn't take into account the fact that the time I spend playing in the -TC shoes that I could have spent on playing at +TC shoes. Also, Wong in/out should reduce the effect of poor pen, right? Granted, there are times when I have to spend quite sometime to find the +TC tables but I am rarely exposed to -EV situations in this way. Also, is there any tip on how to be more effective discovering +TC tables? What I do is that I stand behind two tables and observe two tables at once, and usually just back counting one of the two tables and look at the other tables card distributions. Would what I do draw any heat? I sometime feel like a homeless guy wondering around the casino without betting but only watching... I also try to play rated, I figured PB sometimes don't close me out right after I left the table, so let's say I played only 5 mins at this table and left, but I could still be earning points as long as the PB didn't close me out, right? Any tips would be greatly appreciated.. Thanks!
