Four Winds Casino-Lousy Comps for BJ

I've played here about a dozen times. I usually go with a buddy who plays nothing but VP and slots. He has no problem getting both of our meals comped. I recently went by myself. I tried to get a meal comp and was told they couldn't do it and that I only had a balance of a few bucks on my card, which I always use at the tables. I talked to the PB and he gave me a bunch of double talk saying that the system was complicated and it was based in part on house advantage and other factors. I told him I wanted the exact formula and he couldn't/wouldn't give it to me. I then told him that my buddy, who spends a lot less money on VP and slots than I do at BJ, never has a problem getting comps and he again gave me a bunch of double talk. I told him they were screwing the Blackjack players and they were going to lose a lot of business to the other casinos in the region where comps are no problem for BJ players. Anyone else have similar experiences here?

Everyone will have similar experiances. I don't know a single casino that treats BJ players remotely like they machine players.
According to the Wizard of Odds, a $5 BJ player can expect to lose $25 over ten hours. A 25 cent reel player can expect to lose $360 over that same time.
The casino expects to make more than 10X more off aslot player than they do a BJ player, which is why they value the slot player much greater.Given the choice between a car filled with slot players or a bus full of BJ players, they'll invite the car.

That may be, but the other Michigan casinos are much more generous with comps for BJ players. I have no problem getting comps anywhere else and all I play is BJ.

The same everywhere. My wife is a slot maven and she is treated like a Queen, highest level for everything.

Further update: Comp dollars do not carry over from one day to the next for BJ. This place is seriously stingy and several of the pit bosses are downright rude.

Do what I do, only play the fine places. New B is trash anyhow. Let them have the suckers, they may not be doing that well, big debt load.

Uses RFID chips/tables to further screw you out of comps. They will also use this tool to determine your spread. The may take action with little or no other evaluation. There have been a couple of rude 86'ngs there since it opened so keep that in mind if you play higher stakes.

I don't know what an RFID chip is, but they are certainly very rude to players so that doesn't surprise me at all.

Around here, I have found that the stores that have RFID chips are the most generous with comps.

Some players just beg to be 86'd by their rude, greedy, behavior.

What would you consider to be a fine place? This area is somewhat limited and the rules are pretty much the same everywhere. PM me if you'd like.
