Next flight to Laughlin
I always have a travel bag packed and ready to go at all times, so after hearing about the free coffee cup I know I have to jump the next flight to Laughlin!
I'm fairly sure I have talked about my Laughlin experiences on here before. Best low limit game in Laughlin? I think you should have simply asked about "The best game in Laughlin" because ALL the games in Laughlin are low limit games. It is a low budget players paradise with overall crummy games (although I'm sure there's a few that are not bad as Shad pointed out) but certainly better low stakes games than Atlantic City. AC gouges those low stakes players for maximum HA, whereas Laughlin wants at least a LITTLE longevity so that batch of retirees comes back on the NEXT bus trip! Laughlin caters to the retirees for the most part, it seems. They haul them in on buses from the entire region, they roll in with their winnebagos, etc., so the average gamblers age in Laughlin seems to be about 86 or so... at least that has been my impression of it. You start betting green chips and they spazz out on you and you are obviously a "high roller". You start winning and you have a chip stack in front of you that is a whopping $100 bucks ahead of what you started with and they REALLY start freaking out.
If you are used to playing in places where they don't even bat an eyelash when someone is betting stacks of black chips this all looks like a weird parallel universe to you. It's the place to go if you are a "low roller"... not even a "medium roller" because you put a green chip out there and win that hand they just might try to drown you out in the river.
With all that being said, it's still a nice place to stop and hang out at for a few minutes, just don't expect to be slapping any heavy action around there. I enjoyed visiting there but it's not on my official regular stops list is all. After hearing about this free coffee cup, though...
