Conditions at Meadowlands and Rivers

#1
I've read some of the posts here on these two casinos, but am still not completely sure about the following: what are the total number of ASMs (non-CSM tables) at each location, are the shoes at these tables 6-deck or 8-deck, and what is the rule on hitting soft 17 at each? Thanks for any help.

Cheers,

Both stay on S17. Rivers uses 8 decks while Meadows uses 6 decks. So theoretically Meadows is better. However, Rivers is more generous on the penetration. I will say 33% of tables are ASM. And River's number goes up on weekends. (Tables open only on weekend are 50% ASM and 50% CSM.)

Hi BJgenius,

Thanks for the heads-up. Just wondered if you could give me a ballpark figure for the total number of ASMs open on typical weekday at either casino (not the percentage).

Cheers,

On weekdays, not counting High Limit area, Meadows has 4 to 8 tables (they have two wings. One is open only in afternoon). If all seats are taken or almost, Meadows will change table limits from $10/$15 to $100 in every table. And Rivers has about 10 ASM tables, 4 of them are for red chippers ($10 or $15) and always open. Six tables for green chippers ($25 and $50) may not open.
