How do the cool $4,500,000 sound to you? Re: victorious 2nd hand smoke lawsuit

This guy "earns" $4,500,000 from his ex-employer-casino because of his victorious 2nd-hand-smoke-lawsuit.
He just sets a precedent in term of holding a casino liable to workers & patrons who are harmed by the 2nd hand smoke. He paves the way for sickened-workers and patrons to sue for millions since casinos have insisted that air is safe, and that ventilation is sufficient...and that even now... smoking must be allowed in casinos because profits are more important than people's health...etc... Hey DoctorBJ, forget about making money from counting cards . Perhaps you will move your law office to AC, and make lotsa money from "helping" injuried-workers and patrons. COUGH, COUGH, COUGH. Hey Doc, I think I need your legal service because I have bad lungs from 2nd hand smoke over years of "patronizing" such smoky AC casinos. Of course I was "fooled" by casinos' lies, and as a result my lungs were injured. COUGH, COUGH, COUGH . What do you guys think?

Wow, $4,500,000! That winner needs this pistol to protect himself from robbers and or kidnappers:

Good for him smoking kills period. If the casino walls were filled with asbestos nobody would say a word if the guy sued for safety then.

As for profits it just goes to show casinos are run by idiots. Smoking hurts their profits.

Joke

Now every employee in a casino who gets cancer gets $5 million?
Guess what-pretty soon no more casinos.
Now we can see why states with tort reform like Texas and Alabama are thriving while "progressive" places like Shitcago, Mexifornia and Blue Jersey are in the shitter.
America's dead-we just haven't been buried yet. At least the burying will finally create some "shovel ready jobs".

Do you support the premise that corporations should not be held accountable for their crimes & negligence? zg

What "crime" is committed by allowing smoking which the government says is LEGAL?
Do you support every casino employee (maybe customers too?) getting $5 million if they get cancer?
You do realize that will be the END of casinos?

Right, so cancer is bad, this we can all agree on, however this muppet is ludacris! It's bullox, I smoke but not vigorously; if a bloke wants to enjoy a fag then let him in the appropriate area. If you don't want smoke then stay away from smoking tables, one knowingly puts themselves at risk by sitting at the tables that allow smoking or smoking areas in general.
I'll level with this one though ya, smoking banned from bars, here in the states is understandable because of the small space and lack of ventilation compared to that of a casino's. The pubs where I'm from are horrid at times so me smoking in there was just silly, couldn't breathe as it was.
Here's an interesting tid bit of information though, I've been to foxwoods and all the tables smoking or not have little blowers lining the edge of the chip racks for the dealers so it creates a wind wall against the smoke. AC don't have that from what I've seen and its a shame, hope AC don't bite the big bullet over all from bullox like this in the end.
America isn't looking as free as it was or from what I heard of years ago, quite a shame.

Oi, just thought of something else rather funny too! I personally been thinking bout getting me that electronic ciggy yah, and aside from my own desire to smoke but, to mess with peoples inside anywhere you shouldn't or wouldn't see smoking l.ol. I'm told and have read it emits water vapor and thats it.
Last thing though, for the record, it takes me about two weeks to get through my pack of 12 pending where I go, or what I do, and I can still run a 20minute 3 mile, and that you can take to the bank mate.
