do programs react when you change the bet?

Hi

another newbie question:

From your experience, do your chances increase or decrease when you raise the bet?

here's why i'm asking.
yesterday i played some blackjack at an online casino and had a WR of 4800 to reach.
being a good pupil i decided to flat bet the minimum and was doing ok until i thought about a system:
let's say i start at 100, i flat bet 1 and if i reach 105 i will bet 5 so to reach the next level.
sounded safe enough as my odds of winning any hand are about 43%
to make a long story short: i would estimate i won 10-15% of the 5$ hands, pushed about 5$ and the rest were losses.
what's worse is that in about 50% of these 5$ bets there was the oppurtunity to double or split and i lost every single of those:cry:

now, i'm famous for being unlucky but this seemed a little too much even for me, has anyone encountered anything similar with raising bets? maybe it's just a fluke but i'd like to hear from more people.

to end on a good note, after finishing the WR i switched to bj switch and recovered my losses.

yours

I have never really had this problem, but one day every single time I would get dealt an 11 the Dealer would be dealt and A and would have a blackjack.

Every time

Very odd.
