any USA players screwed?

#1
I just got an email from my online casino stating that they cannot even send me checks now, so my money is stranded in their account (hopefully temporarily..I got 5k in there). They assured me that they are seeking future alternatives for US players to withdraw.....should I be concerned here? Anyone else going throught this?

Pretty ironic,eh?
The law Republicans pushed thru to prevent US citizens from getting screwed by On-line casinos results in the US citizens getting screwed.

That is very disturbing considering the money I have in Neteller came from a online gaming site....especially the comment "some customers might get their money back" almost insinuating that if your money came from online gaming it may not come back.

Which casino couldn't send a check?

And if it's any consolation, I've got money tied up in Neteller, possibly tied up in click2pay, and of course, tied up in a few slow paying casinos. It's a blast.

BTW, if anyone has money tied up in neteller, and wants to potentially talk to a USA Today reporter, pm me, because I'm going to call the guy this afternoon (contact came through casinomeister)

The real irony would be if Nigerians started getting emails like this:

Dear freind,

My name is Doug Smith, and you are a reliable person who was told to me. I am a very rich gambler person in the United States. I recently came into the sum of five (5) thousand united sates dollars, but due to an overthrowing in the government, am unable to withdrawn the sum. I am asking for your help. I want to send the funds to your bank account and the you send them to mine as non gambling payments. For you're services I offer ten (10) percent of the funds transferred to keep with my thanks! I please you to get back to me soon with your banking information.

;)

Neteller has 200 dollars of my money! I won't just forget about it. If they dont pay me I will hassle them as much as possible.

One casino was slow-paying me for 180 dollars and I called and emailed them repeatedly until they finally just gave up and paid me, hahaha.

Vegas Joker is in the Mini Vegas/Vegas Affiliate group. This group has had more than its share of problems recently, resulting in winning the Fall from Grace Award at CM. Regarding payment problems with this group, someone posted the following at CAP forums today. They make it sound like ePassporte will be available in the future.

Dear Affiliate,

We regret to inform you that we will no longer be able to send any checks to the USA. Unfortunately we also received confirmation from our processor that your December checks were not sent.

Also we are not able to process ACH to the USA. The payout option currently available to the USA is Click2Pay for existing Click2Pay customers only.

We are also working on ePassporte but they have delays in processing applications at the moment. Once this is setup we recommend that you open an ePassporte account.

So what we can offer you now is Click2Pay, or we can deposit your commissions into a casino player account where you can accumulate your earnings until another payment solution is setup (eg. ePassporte soon).

Please email me asap with your Click2Pay PAN and email or casino player account number. If you do not have a player account, you may easily open one in eg. Vegas Slot Casino, Grand Hotel Casino or Colosseum Casino.

Best wishes

epassporte was kind of a pain when I used it as my first funding system. Fees to deposit and fees to withdraw.

However, if it's the ONLY solution available, then that changes the calculus. also, it had the unique advantage of being fundable from one of my credit cards (as a cash advance, I believe).

You were using cash advances from a CC to fund your on-line gaming?
Sounds bad doesn't it? It was before I got neteller working, and I didn't know much about the payment methods out there.

At the time, Starluck/Planetluck offered a 10% bonus on epassporte deposits(in addition to the signup bonus). that pretty much made it a wash, even after eating epassporte fees, and a little bit of interest on the CC (I paid off the entire CC balance the next day to kill the interest accrual).

our dumbass government needs to get there nose out of everyone's business. i used to play internet poker, and with all money givers i was doing pretty good until the US pulled that no gambling shit. there are two reasons why they did that shit: (1) they weren't getting any taxes off of it and (2) they are trying to distract people from the bullshit they are trying to pull off with NAFTA and that bunch in creating to "North American Union" which is going to completing kill the already suffering middle class as well as cause several other problems. check this website out: (Dead link: http://www.jbs.org/thenewamerican)
