I dont think they cheat. I do know they are not in control of the cards or the games . I have seen weird things there, with cards not in play appearing and no one knows what to do with them.

They are not as professional as others and make many mistakes.
I have been to Hollywood in the past, however do not recall seeing anything out of the ordinary. Care to elaborate on your observations?

Did OP really have seen 10 4clubs in a 8-decks shoe?
I really doubt it. If he did see, then why didn't he complaint to gaming or any legislature governing the casino?

I really really doubt it. Why would they add extra small cards when they can easily remove big cards?
This would be spooky if I saw it. The reason they'd replace 10s and faces with small cards is to keep the number of cards in the total shoe correct. And that would increase the house's advantage more than just removing 10s. If this is really going on they didn't just add small cards, they replaced bigs with smalls. By the way, I never experienced always ending up with a high count at the end of each shoe. If the deck was stacked, you'd see that high count at the end pretty consistently, and probably would be just as good a way to know the shoe was gaffed then counting the 4 of clubs, (how did you pick the 4 of clubs?).

I've played there once over a long weekend and extracted $1800 from them. However, I never saw the cards changed even being there for many different shifts. I good question would be to ask when when the cards get changed and can I watch. (BTW, the shoe games are all automatic shufflers and $25 or $50 limits. The lower limit tables of $10 and $15 are CSMs.)

The last subject is the game is BARELY playable, 8-decks, H17, NSUR, NRSA, and 2-decks cut off. Play-all with a spread less than 1-20 will probably not put your EV in the + category. I know I just got lucky on my last trip. But it was still fun (I'm still a recreational counter, i.e. I want to win money but still find playing the game itself to be fun) and the parade on Friday/Saturday night of young females in their FM party dresses and FM shoes was outstanding, something not to be missed.

It was easy to get a $25 comp to eat at the HardRockCafe.

They change the cards every day between 7am-9am. You don't have to ask to watch. They do it in plain sight but will not fan the cards out.

They do have hand shuffled games on three tables outside open day and night shift only weather permitting. The mins are usually $15 outside. Rules same as inside, 8d H17.

You saw ten 4C come out? I hate to say it, but you're right, I don't believe you. Seminole Hollywood rips off their patrons the old-fashioned way: having lousy games with a nearly 0.8%HA (6/8 H17 DAS noRSA noLS). In addition, the recently-signed compact allowing the Seminoles to continue to operate a monopoly in the state of Florida is nearly guaranteed to keep all of their scamming as "legitimate" and above-board as possible. Think about it: you run $25 minimum games 24/7 with a huge house edge and can barely keep a table dead even in off-peak hours. You have exclusive rights to the game of blackjack in the state of Florida and will for the next 5 years. The parimutuels are hoping that even the slightest slip-up will cause the Seminoles to lose their monopoly. Does stacking the decks make any sense at all?
Been there a few times now and I counted the cards each time.
Ratios are out of whack. 4-1 ratio of numbered cards to pictures,
Hard to believe they cheat, but they most certainly do.
I tried notifying the authorities but the indians need not comply to white man rules. I wish this wasnt the case because I am a lover of fair blackjack..

Play on the boats if you're convinced that they're cheating. The limits are lower (if that's a positive for you), and the games are far better. Down south is the Big M and in central FL is Suncruz Port Richey. Both games are 6D S17 DAS RSA (Big M offers LS) and nothing is out of the ordinary. Good luck!

/seminole cheaters

I play blackjack all over the world.
I have read every book and consider myself an excellent player.
I visited the Seminole Hard Rock Casino and was amazed after counting a few shoes how unbalanced the cards are. On one such hand a total of 32 cards were face up on the table. Only 2 cards were pictures.
Lets see,,, 8 to 5 should be the correct ratio of numbers vs pictures/aces...
Thats better than 2-1!!!!!!! Yet 32 cards were face up and 2 picture cards were shown. I ran this by a match professor who explained it would be easier to win the lottery than have this happen.
UNLESS,,, the decks were stacked. (fixed),,
I requested to see the cards and I offered the casino 1000 bucks to show me the cards. They refused.
Bottom line, Screw me once , shame on YOU.... Screw me twice, shame on ME. This game is over.

How do you find Hardrock?
I just want to find a casino that shows cards face UP before the fun begins.

This should be the rule, not exception.

This isn't correct at all. And if you've played a lot of blackjack and have read all the books, you'll know that the true odds of something happening are rarely reflected in individual observation. Just because a fair coin flip should be 50/50 doesn't mean that if you flip heads 10 times in a row that the coin is crooked.

The real crimes of the Seminole blackjack games are the abysmal rules. Even in the HL pit, the games are no RSA and no LS. This is absolute garbage. But I agree, cards should be fanned face up at all table games. This is not just to show the fairness of the games to players, it's also to show surveillance that nobody's swapped out any shoes with coolers. It's basic casino game protection, and there's really no excuse.

However, I think the probability that the Seminoles are cheating is very, very low. You may have asked for them to spread the cards face up, but if it's not in the house rules, most staff will refuse. Even if they don't understand the significance of the request. Casino personnel are mostly concerned with staying out of trouble (eg. not bending house rules to satisfy the curiosity of patrons); it's not necessarily an indicator that they're trying to hide cheating.
