I had a whole table betting Royal20s sidebet (similar to Lladies). When I would give the signal one of them would imitate cavalry trumpet and the others would shout CHARGE and bet. This went on for nearly an hour before the pit told us "no sidebets." zg
OMG! hahahaha!

Why was the table so obvious about it?

It was a full table of ploppies and I had been up allnight losing, so I didn't give a f**k. At first I had them betting for me but then they got greedy so I was just "f**k it!" It was hilarious. zg

Oh man, that would be friggin' hilarious. I'm laughing just reading about it; I can't imagine how cool that would be to actually see.

That sounds great!

Actually one of the things I was going to do was to buy in for about 2 or 3 grand somewhere (not that I'd actually gamble with all that money) and then start betting $5 a hand, or sitting out rounds like you said.

It could be fun!
I did it once.

Grand Casino Tunica.

Bought in for $1000

Bet $10 a hand.

I ended up getting kicked out. :)

But it took 'em about 4 hours.

If you are losing would the casino throw you out even if they know you are counting?

I have heard several people proclaim that they are counting but the casino let them play because that "counter" just wasn't any good at counting at all.

Any fool could come up to a table and proclaim he is a counter. Does a casino have to see some display of counting skills, not just big talk, to back you off?
I once was passing by a table and the dealer was doing a hand shuffle and the ploppies were talking about counting. The dealer went on to EXPLAIN counting +1/-1 and then methods of shuffle tracking. Which I thought took balls.

After a few minutes I finally asked "Have you ever spotted a counter yourself?"

"No."

"Then I guess I'll sit down."

guys, just reading about this makes me laugh. i live in romania. here, the casinos only have 4 BJ tables, the rules are great and the funny thing is no one, i mean no one cares about counting cards. i had a chat with a friend of mine who is a dealer and he told me that they don't keep track and even if you win say like 200-300 times the minimum bet in one session, they will not kick you out beacause it is insignificant to them, they make their money off roulette where on private tables people play with 1000$ chips. i haven't got the bankroll to play on high stakes, but i wonder what would happen if say 4 or 5 card-counters with a large bankroll would show up and start getting all their money. by the way, the rules are: DAS, 6-D, 70-75% pen, EARLY Sr. (on dealer ace sr. not allowed), dealer doesn't peek, even money on dealer ACE or 10, double any, 1-50 spread (table min from 5 dollars to 250, or 25 to 1500) and in some casinos if you draw 5 cards you automaticaly get 21.

i just started playing and it goes pretty well;)
