They can put a man on the moon, but they can't...(insert issue here).

Supercoolman, I don't know whether the world would be better served with more card counters or more rocket scientists. Of course, if we colonize Mars and they opened up a casino there...jackpot! You'd be the authority! Of course, if that whole moonwalk wasn't done in a warehouse...:p

This is true. I didn't put near enough effort into cover plays or camo on my first trip to Vegas and I payed for it BIG TIME. I am still a rookie and I made some bad mistakes. 1) Giving my real ID for a players card. 2) Using a large spread. 3) Being greedy and sticking around to long.

I was backed off from 4 casinos, including 2 MGM casinos. These backoffs were harder for me to deal with then the negative varience and long negative flux involved with card counting. Its hard when you train so hard just to be told you cant play anymore. It also sucks to know that I wont be able to play at half the strip casinos again because of stupid mistakes I made so early in my career.
I wouldn't worry about not being able to play at these places anymore. Depending on the size of your action and the nature of your backoff, unless they are both on the large and extreme level you will be able to play there again soon. At least at the MGM properties. It takes quite an effort to get permanently barred from a major property. As a matter of fact I see 86'd players playing in these casinos on a fairly regular basis. You just don't want your backoffs to become habitual. Learn from your mistakes before they learn about you.

I love that quote because I might actually become a rocket scientist.
I doubt it because that would entail you getting a regular job, something that you have repeatedly sworn off in many of your posts. But if you do let me know so I can be on the lookout for flying pigs.

I doubt it too. But I might do it just because I want to get inside NASA somehow to learn thier secrets about extraterrestrials/ufo-coverups/ect. And then reveal them to the world in the form of a book of course.

MIT_Mike And Mr J are having a seminar in Vegas next weekend.. I'm going to be there to see if I can improve my game.. I thought about it a bit this week and am kinda in Aw.. Its like going from little league to the NFL.. Should be a good time.. These guys have been very helpful over the last year as far as answering some difficult questions on their forum.. What are some thoughts that you guys have?
I wonder what qualifies as "difficult questions"? zg

Cost?

What is the cost of their meetings? I think I have read between $500 and $700 investment. I'm interested in finding out value after you return.

I wonder if they'll have more students after the movie "21" comes out...
If so, the students get the best teachers they could get. Imagine you would like to learn how to play snooker and you get Ronnie O'Sullivan as a trainer! (more an insider :p ) Or tennis with Roger Federer. Better to learn right from the start how to get the money than attacking the 6:5 games and hope for the big win.
