Dont worry about being down, its just part of the territory. Not letting it, getting you emotionally rattled, is part of the skill that comes with pro BJ. Live to fight another day.
exactly, excellent point. no need to worry about being down on any given session. funny though i guess it's just human nature that it bothers one anyway.
So how'd you do?
i always do well as long as i still have something left from the money i've won over the years.:)
so even though over the bj bash sessions i was down for those sessions, i'm still up. lost about 80 units. i'd gladly pay much more than those 80 units just to be able to enjoy the great commoradory that i enjoyed with my new found friends.
Did ya play any double deckers?
ahh, yes and a very fine one at that.
edit: <<== and wanted to add while it was an up and down thing i had some very pleasant up plays in the dd. it's a fairly new experience for me playing dd. i found it was not nearly so unpleasant counting orthodox as it can be for six and eight deck games. i played some six deck games as well, did pretty well on those for the most part but i had one session that just wore me way down.
Did the WW training come in handy at all? Hope so!
absolutely my friend.

Bashers,

Just curious and of course wishing to learn, without giving away any specifics, I'm wondering how many players were involved and if you would ever play the same table with each other, or if there was any version of team play being employed?

Also, was the bash limited to one casino or was this a venue with multiple stores to choose from followed by off-site meetings and progress reports.

Thanks for anything you're able and willing to share,

Ace,

Thanks for the good question. However....

I believe it is in the best interest of all who attended not to answer any of the above. Especially since we plan on having another 'BJ BASH" in the future, 09.

Best to you.

i would just say this much. any store that might fear the BJ BASH in the future would be baseless as it's not our intent to reak havoc.
