How well do you know your poker hands. Assume a normal 9 player game. Write down answers. Answers are below. (Don't cheat)

Which hand is favored when you're heads up against another player.

1.AsKs or QdQh

Flop: 2s 5h 8s If you think As,Ks is better choose the first option in the poll, if not, choose the second option

2. inside straight flush draw on the flop with you holding 3,4 spades or AsAh

3. 10,10 or AK suited

4. KhKs or Qd,8d flop is 6d, 7d, 8c

5. 6h, 2h or Ad,Ks
flop is 6d, 2d and Kd

1. A,Ks
2. 3,4s
3. 10,10
4. q,8d
5. Ad, Ks
6. pocket 5's

2.

Code:
Board: 2s 5h 8s

Wins	Ties	Equity
54.34% 0.00%	54.34%	( AsAh )
45.66% 0.00%	45.66%	( 3s4s )
AsAh is blocking two of 3s4s's outs :)
Also important...if a spade comes on the turn, you've got a redraw to the nut flush.

Since people are discussing this one, I guess I’ll throw in my silly questions.

I don’t get this one. I can think of flops that give an inside straight flush draw for either the 43 hand or the AA hand, but not both at the same time. duanedibley used 2s5h8s, but that only gives the 43 hand three to the straight flush, and the AA hand three to the nut flush, which, to me, doesn’t fulfill the requirements. What am I not understanding here? What is the flop supposed to be?

I took it to mean that the 43s hand has the inside straight flush draw. 2s5h8s was for a different hand. For the 43s vs. AA hand, I think he meant a flop like 2s6s9h.

Edit: I didn't realize until just now what you were getting at. I think duanedibley used the wrong cards, but the result is the same. I get:

3s 4s versus As Ad -- board 2s 6s 9h
Holdem Hi: 990 enumerated boards containing 6s 2s 9h
cards win %win lose %lose tie %tie EV
4s 3s 419 42.32 571 57.68 0 0.00 0.423
As Ad 571 57.68 419 42.32 0 0.00 0.577

By the way, for those who aren't poker players, twodimes.net is a great website for quick checks on all-in EV questions like this. For a more in-depth look, PokerStove is a useful tool.

Sorry I apologize, I made a mistake. The answer for #2 is indeed pocket Aces. The 3,4S would be favored if everyone else was playing.
