Mystic Lake License To Thrill

#1
I didn't know about this until I accidentally showed up to Mystic Lake on a Friday night two weeks ago, but they currently have this promotion called "License to Thrill." They're giving away free slot play, cash, even a car. I didn't think this was a big deal, but it's a huge hit for some reason. Like, big enough for them to close down the primary parking ramp and make me park in some overflow lot.

I thought this was going to be a bad thing, since the place was packed. Every blackjack table was open and filled to capacity, but I somehow eventually managed to get in two spots at a $10 table. It turns out that if you get a suited blackjack (or a 5 card charlie, 6-7-8, 777, etc.) you can get extra entries in their License to Thrill drawings. This is great because these are relatively common, and every time you get one, the PC has to record it by hand.

So I played 2 hands at with a 1-8 spread each for 4 hours and got no PC attention at all, even though both times I won over $500 (I know this isn't much for a lot of you, but in the past when I win that much I get at least a little attention from the PC). It was great. I went immediately after work last Friday (got there at about 6:30) and did the same exact thing, so those of you in the Minneapolis area might want to give it a shot.

I'll be playing at Mystic when it isn't packed, thanks!

Also don't worry about the floor, it's the eye in the sky that would get you banned if you exceeded their tolerance level, which won't be soon if you are spreading 10-80.

this increase in traffic probably brings all the tables down to 50 hands per hour and the drawing entries are basically worthless. This sounds like the worst time to play. With regard to heat, Blue Efficacy hit that matter on the head.

My experience in drawing nights at Mystic

isn't pleasant. The only tables you may find breathing room at are 15 or 25 dollar tables on the main floor. This is certainly no guarantee, either.

High limit will also typically be packed to the gills.

Nothing wrong with that though if you just want to have fun and enjoy the longshot of being picked in the drawings for a chance to win the cool cars they are giving away.

A week from friday they will be giving away a Cadillac CTS coupe, and two weeks later, a Mercedes Benz SLK.

Friday nights are the worst times to play at ML and Treasure. Other smaller casinos within 2 hrs, however, is a different story, as they will actually have a decent amount of tables open at this time. For example, for the most part Grand Casino Mille Lacs is only playable on weekends.
