Looks like the second listing is either a later edition or a reprinted edition, as it says 1992. I have the 1986 edition and wasn't aware their was a later edition. Can't imagine there would be much new information since he died in 1987, so it is probably just a reprint date as opposed to a second edition with new information. Just my guess though.

I have both the 1986 and the 1992 version in my extensive BJ library.

The only difference that I can see is that the latter one is hardcover.

The book is essentially worthless.

Ironically titled, it would be much more honest if it was printed as:
"Ken Uston on Ken Uston" as it has no useful BJ content.

K.U. was a narcissistic egomaniac and this book is reflective of that.

The Real Kenny U.

Uston's book include one that has some worthwhile info; and that is Million Dollar Blackjack.
It is dated, but heavy on technique; mostly for Single Deck.

Uston's intellect was impressive, but it was eclipsed by his egomania.
He lived and died an abbreviated life in the fast lane, and that is an understatement.
He was a tireless self-promoter. His self-aggrandizement was embarrassingly obvious.
Advantage Players were severely hurt because he thought that he could force the
casinos to bend to his will while greedily attacking their games.

His veracity was often questioned.
He falsely took credit for things like creating B.J. "Team Play".
(That was Al Francisco, who first recruited Kenny).
He forevery ruined the greatest BJ game in the world - Atlantic City -
where they were dealing 4 deckers with [true] Early Surrender.
A game that was significantly positive "off-the-top".
Flat Betting with Basic Strategy was quite profitable.
With Card Counting it was beyond awesome. It was fantastic.
Had he left it alone, we pro's who have good cover and camouflage.
Instead, taking it personally that he was 86'd, he sued the New Jersey Casino Control Commision, and ever since A.C.
has been obliged to present us with ugly games as they cannot simply 86' us, but instead must take "counter-measures"
i.e bet restrictions and preferential (half) shoeing.
