Miami: Largest casino in the country?

This sounds awesome! The only snag I see is the following :

If casino gambling expands, the Seminole Tribe says it will stop paying the state the $1 billion it agreed to over five years in exchange for exclusive rights to blackjack and baccarat. No exclusivity, no money.

This is going to be a rough battle - Disney can put up a hell of a fight when it feels threatened.

But I don't think the Seminole threat of withholding payments to the State will be that big of a deal... The State would end up making way more if it allows the 3 new mega-casinos.

Florida would really take off if this development comes to fruition.

It would also bring in a great throng of international visitors to the area, what a boom it would be!

Disney can respond by opening an Adult Gaming Theme Park! "We will chaporone your kids to the Magic Kingdom while you enjoy yourself at our fabulous Gaming Theme Park." Just saying.

Haha yeah that'd be great. Walt Disney built Disneyland as a "Clean place where both kids AND adults could enjoy themselves" after observing California theme parks back in the day.

I guess when it comes down to it it's not like the Walt Disney Corporation is going to up and move Disneyworld... what can they do?
