hmmm,

I never tried. I don't play for comps there. I just need it so they get off my back when I cash in with a lot of money. Like I said before, if your main purpose is to play for the comps, then it won't work. Oh well, But I would assume at least for the food comps, they wouldn't ask. At least the places I've been to, I just take my card to the restaurant and they just swipe it.

My last trip in August, I lost my drivers license. Had no trouble getting a card at Arizona Charlies using my Blue Cross Blue Shield card. Was told it would be good for anything except cashing checks. Was denied one at the East side Cannery for not having govt. ID. Managed to get thru airport security after I agreed to undergo the extra security, which they never did.

what are you going to do when you have to show ID at the cage for a CTR or other govt form? It is a felony to produce false id for govt mandated transactions.

that's when I show it. Am I wrong in assuming that they can't track your winnings if they don't know how much you started with? I.E. how much you cashed in with that is recorded on your player's card? So my strategy is: check in with the card that has a fake name, win lots of money, go to cage and use your real ID to cash out. They shouldn't be able to figure out if I started with that or won all that, right?

Maybe... depends... If you win a lot they will keep tabs on you. Also RFID equippped stores have the capability of tracking the chip from the tray to anywhere on site with your associated info.

I have read, and I believe it was on here, that casinos do not have to cash chips for anyone except the person who won them . Chips are not legal tender. As I understand it, if you give chips to another person to pay off a debt or any other reason, the casino is not obligated to cash them. They almost always do, but don't have to.
If you won them using one name, it is possible you would have a problem cashing them out under another.
I believe LVBear had a big problem cashing out chips at the MGM.
