So … I am at the M G M Grand and I spy a new game. “One Up”

Played with six 40 card decks (all face cards removed)

Dealer and player alike have a permanent King of Spades as their initial up card, as emblazoned on the baize.

Blackjacks pay Even-Money, except for a suited SPADE snapper paying 2-1
If the player and dealer each get an Ace it is a push.

Doubling permitted, not that there is any hand you’d want to double.

Split (of a paired 2nd and 3rd cards) are permitted, IF they are 5’s or below as all other paired cards would have “busted”

After juggling a few numbers in my head, I suspect that the game carries a Vig’ of > 5%, presuming the patron hits their stiffs.

Any thoughts ?

I suspect that this game will be defunct in a matter of a month or two.

Would you double a natural? You'd know he doesn't the ace....

Can't imagine this game lasting, which means it will be a huge hit, i'm sure.
