Best on-line casinos?

#1
Do any of you guys/gals have any recommendations concerning the best on-line casinos? I'm looking for a good single-deck game with the most favorable rules for the player.

Thanks!

Yes I know it is a poker room but, I think that they offer the best BJ game, and the most honest ( which is the most important).

Double deck game
Dealer stands on soft 17
Only one card to split Aces
Double down any
DAS

edge 0.22 %

The most important thing, You Can Trust This Pokerroom -Casino. Software is GREAT GREAT GREAT! I had wonderful experience with pokerroom.com, and is still my number 1 online casino and poker room!

Update Added by Ken: Same operation, now with a full casino at (Dead link: http://bh3.net/l.php/918) _CasinoRoom.com_

0.11% player advantage

(Dead link: http://bh3.net/l.php/771) _Pharaoh's Casino_ still has the best single deck blackjack game I'm aware of online. It has a player edge of 0.11%.
1D, S17, DAS, DA2, Split once, full peek game.

How do you calculate that you have an edge? Or do you meen that is the Casinos edge?

Here is a good place to start educating yourself on the math of BJ

http://www.bjmath.com/main.htm (Archive copy)

Basically the number of decks and the rules involved effect the game in a very dynamic way.

The rules that Ken laid out for the game he described are very good. I did not do the math and do not play online casinos but I would think that Ken has it figured correctly and was taking card counting into account. If that is in fact possible at the casino Ken was referring to.

Pharaoh's casino edge

Pharoh's casino offers excelent rules, and I don't think you will be able to find better online casino to play BJ considering rules of game.
Card Counting is not possible to use in online games because deck is shuffled after each round of betting.

One deck game at Pharaoh's casino has positive PLAYERS edge of +0.11-0.12% not because of counting but because of specific set of rules.

Pharaoh's casino Rules: 1D , S17 , DAS , DA2

1D ( 1 deck) = 0%
S17 (dealer stands on 17) = 0%
DAS (double after split) = +0.12%
DA2 (double any two)= 0%

now adding all of these numbers 0%+0%+0.12%+0% gives us +0.12% edge.
In this particular game we have an edge just because we are aloved to double after split. BlackJack played with PERFECT BASIC STRATEGY 40 - 50 years ago was positive expectation game. The particular game at this online casino DOES give advantage to the player. But edge is so small that this game is deffinitely coin toss. Well player is deffinitely more likely to lose if he overbets his bankroll.

Long term profit:

For each dollar that you bet at this game you suppose to get tenth part of a cent pure profit , or to explain it even better for each $10 you get 1 cent profit.

($10 X 0.12%) / 100% = 0.012 0.012= 1.2 Cents

Only to make a dollar profit you would have to have betting action of $900 dollars 90 betts X $10.

of course this is just a math. You are more likely to lose big time than win back everything again and be ahead little bit and so on.

Again, I do not play online casinos but, I have read on this site that there are actually online games that it is possible to count cards. I will have to see if I can find the name of the casino....

On-Line Card Counting

You can count cards at InterCasino, but you have to work for it. They only have 30% penetration, which means you have to wong in after watching for a couple of hours for a hand to actually turn good before an all-too-soon shuffle. If you find a table with just one player, you've got a fighting chance to play a few hands before the shuffle.

online counting

We just had this discusion on one other topick.

Penetration of 25 - 30 % percent is nothing.
Huge bet spread is needed to get a small profit.
It is not worth a risk.

Id be interested to know where I can count online. I imagine it would be easier sitting by the computer than doing it at a casino.

Intercasino Counting

Please help this newbie understand: When I'm playing multi-player at Intercasino, the deck is periodically shuffled. Am I correct in thinking that I can start counting after the shuffle and restart at the next shuffle? Why did people say that this is not especially profitable? What makes this different than brick-and-mortar casino counting? I actually tried counting after the shuffle and by the second hand was up to +15, I doubled my bet and was dealt JJ and won. Maybe just a coincidence but it made me feel like maybe I was onto something. Thanks in advance for your help.:) :)

The difference is that Intercasino does not give very good penetration, so you probably wont make anything playing there. I don't know exactly how far in they deal, but they don't give you good enough penetration for it to be profitable, but you can get a slight edge by counting.

You make a greater profit playing for the bonus. Forget counting at intercasino.
