I am tired of Turning Stone.

Vegas was made successful on the premise of making even the little guy feel like kings. I know of no other casino who's emphasis is to do the oposite of that, other than Turning Stone Casino.
Now I don not play the machines, but my friends do, and they just never win. Witnessing all those hapless souls pumping $$$$$ into those incredibly tight machines is just sad.
They keep messing with the blackjack games. Now they are 8 deck. And on Fri and Sat the double deck games are $50 min. Now I, unlike many of you advantage players, play for the enjoyment. I usually go once every 2 months with $5000-10000, and play BJ or Craps. Now my friend plays about $20000 every 2 weeks. (Please, I do unserstand these dollar ammounts are stupid to some of you, but it is easily affordable for us so it is NOT an issue).
My friend is just a wild gambler, sometimes he runs the 20k up to 75k, and sometimes losses it all. but he does this every 2 weeks. After almost a year of doing this, he still was not given VIP status. He goes to the head boss of the VIP program 2 hours after losing $8000. The boss said that is play just wasnt there, his bets were just not high enough, and according to his computer he is $500 up on this trip. Every host knew this was wrong but nothing was done. He is religious about turning in his players card before playing any table. Every time we have ever been there, we are by far the biggest betters on the casino floor at any time, yet we are treated like bums. Yes we get our rooms paid for and our meals, but so do friends who only play 300 total in machines. I think the place is designed to the zombie slot players and they dont know how to treat deep pocket players.
Let me give you an example, if they said hey, lets fly you here, pick you up from the airport, give you our nicest room, give you VIP status, comp the spa visits, and get you anything you want, I absolutely would go at leat once a month with 20k. Guarenteed. I only go there because my brother is close and our friends live there.

Classic case of not being rated correctly by a lazy floor person. Sounds like its rampant at Turning Stone.

Anyone who can afford to drop $20,000 every two weeks can easily afford the $400 airfare to Vegas, or the $300 airfare to AC.
I can tell you're not someone who drops 20K every two weeks.

Rationalize all you may ... there is NO excuse for giving your patronage to such a wretched joint like Turning Stone.
I don't give my patronage to any casino. I go in and take their money. :eyepatch:

But there is no good reason to travel to Turning Stone for that.

If those's clowns treat you good, they would have to do it for others.....and that won't happen. They know they're the only game in town and can get away with treating people the way they do.

Side note.....they must have evaluated their comp system and really cheapened it up. I used to get a fair amount of $$ on my card from table play. In the last 6-months, I have zero..... I bitched and was told 'your play just isn't there'.

Go elsewhere.

How about just visit and gamble somewhere that you would enjoy the experience and if you are an AP give you the best chance of winning. I am going out on a limb here but it sounds like your high bet amounts are more to impress your friends and family than to be wisely used when generating comps and fairing best in your gaming results.

WOW, this is getting way deeper than need be. I will NOT gamble arround my family or friends. To them, the $ I play with is a lot. I cant enjoy myself if they are watching me. I only play when they are not there. I go to spend time with them durring the day, and play at night. Heck, I also refuse to play in the High Roller area because it is just too uncomfortable to me. I like playing at a good $5 min table where the "real" people are. There is no trying to impress with me, I am very fortunate that 20k is not a big deal to me.

I apologize. Not all "successful" people are as considerate of others. I guess when I refer to you I don't need the quotes around successful.
