Card Counting at Tresuary?

#1
Anyone had any success here?

Do they have CSM's?

I was trying to find a basic strategy chart to suit Tresuary and landed on this site. To generate it they ask the question weather or not the dealer peeks. Anyone know?

Boofhead,

As a fellow Brisbanite, welcome!

First, Treasury BJ sucks proverbial donkey dick.

The main floor is all CSM. Shoe games are high roller room only.

As for basic strategy, the rules at the Treasury are:

6Deck CSM, S17, D9-11, SplitOnce, OBO if Dealer BJ's. House Edge = 0.55%

Because its Original Bets Only if the dealer BJ's, the game is mathematically equivalent to the dealer peeking for blackjack. So check 'dealer peeks.'

Wow that really sucks. Thanks for the heads-up, I won't bother there then, I refuse to play an unbeatable game.
Is it the same situation with pontoon?
Have you checked out Conrad Jupiters on the GC?

I'll just have to stick to poker then :(

Jupiters has the same conditions, BJ-wise, that the Treasury does. All the Queensland casinos do (all are run by Tabcorp).

If it makes you feel any better, Sydney's Star City casino has it even worse. The dealer will take busted splits against a dealer BJ (i.e. they follow the BB+1 rule, rather than OBO as we have in QLD). This makes their house edge 0.01% higher, 0.56%
