That's him!
he likes joking, funny type, looks like he suspects counters everywhere.

However, once he started to elaborate, how bad and illegal counting is, blah-blah-blah.

I used to like this casino prior to their refurbishment. Now almost do not go there.

Not always . . . I did it once by mistake (thought I'd glimpsed two threes) and only realised what a wally I'd been after tossing another chip into the ring and giving the signal to split 'em. Pulled a four card twenty one on one hand.
On the basis of this, I am always going to split 5's

Picadilly casinos

In the early eighties I was stationed at RAF Alconbury and played at a couple of casinos near Picadilly Circus. Was wondering if either were still in operation? They were the Golden Nugget and Charlie Chesters. Just curious. Thanks.

Golden Nugget - yes, now run by LCI which is owned by Harrahs I think.

Charlie Chesters - demised.

Alconbury is no longer used as an active military airbase. I know the plods use it to train police dogs. What use to fly out of there?

Alconbury

Thanks for the info. F4,F5s and the TR1 use to fly out from there. I had heard that Alconbury had closed along with most of the other American bases. Charlie Chesters was a tiny place but I always liked it. Thanks
