shuffle tracking

I have decided that it is too unrealistic to become just a professional card counter and that shuffle tracking is my ticket to riches. I know it is a very unique skill that not everyone can master but I think that I can master it. I am thinking of starting off with the exercises outlined in Blackbelt in Blackjack, read Arnold Snyder's Shuffle Tracking Cookbook and then buy CV Shuffle. Any advice or recommendations would be nice.

They talk about cutoff tracking, which is a simplified method of shuffle tracking. It might be a good place to start. You can always get into the more advanced methods (like segment tracking and zone tracking) once you get a feel for things.

Snyder's cookbook can be a bit complicated. Once you're ready for the tough stuff you can read these:
