I agree. What majority does determines the future of the game as well as quality. If noone plays CSMs, then they are going to have to replace them which I believe happened some times in the past.
On the other hand, do you have any idea about why casinos constantly change the rules of their game? One day there is a 6D S17 game in Monte Carlo with almost over an 80% penetration and another day is the worst game in town like 8D H17 with 2D out and such. No gambler pay attention to what changes casinos make on their BJ games. Only counters do.

Ploppies don't see the changes in games, but they hear it from their more educated BS and card counting friends. The word spreads that even the pros avoid the games at the Monte Carlo. The ploppies can't beat them anyway, but when they find that the pros don't even go there, they say, "WTF! What chance do I have if the pros can't win?!" How long does it take to spread? I don't have a clue, but I know I discuss games all the time with other gamblers and they probably avoid those games that I tell them are unbeatable.
For example, card counters rate penetration highly. A 6-deck game has little chance of moving into a healthy plus count if the house is cutting 50%. A plus count is beneficial not just to counters, but to everyone. More blackjacks are more blackjacks. More successful double downs are more successful double down., More dealer busts are more dealer busts. The ploppies and BS players benefit from these situations, they just don't know how to capitalize on them. If they hear that the cards seldom benefit the player because of bad penetration, don't you think that makes an impression on at least some of them? If if not, they still remember that Monte Carlo means bad blackjack,
I always tell ploppies, the deeper the cut, the better for everybody. I tell the pit bosses that, too...but I tell them that the deeper cut gives the aces more chance to come out. The more aces for everyone, the better, I tell them. So far they only nod in agreement. I think it makes some of them feel bad that just maybe they are not being fair to their customers. You think?
