Betting RPC?

Obviously; the optimal bet spread for the Revere Point Count - or any other counting system, for that matter - is zero to infinity. In the REAL world, you'll last about 15 minutes doing it this way.

If you're asking what kind of a spread is recommended; that's another story. It will depend upon the rules, penetration, whether or not it's single OR double deck, your BR, your personal preferences, your act, the sweatiness of the house, etc.; etc. In other words, this is something that you're pretty much going to have to figure
out for yourself.

For a single deck game with decent rules and good penetration (if you can somehow find one); a one to two spread will pretty much yield a break-even game. For double deck; three to one is break even. Anything you can get away with above these benchmarks is going to be "real-world optimal". This is where the "cat & mouse" game comes in. The better you are at it, the more successful you'll be. Good luck!

Would also require a reasonably large BR

Felt

Try checking out Norm Wattenberger's free ebook "Modern Blackjack" at http://www.qfit.com/book. His FELT count is RPC but with the count divided by the number of full decks remaining instead of half decks. It also includes compromise and full index plays. His Super-SCORE charts shows FELT performing marginally better than RPC.

Not sure about single deck, but he's posted more refined index plays for 2-deck (among other great articles) on his blog http://www.blackjacktheforum.com/blog.php
