I'm just trying to imagine sitting at a table where I'm betting the opposite of every other player at the table.

It might be hilarious.
there goes your excuse for your extensive use of cover plays.... or do you just call them errors in your play of BS, i forget :)

p.s. i tried to find a stick poking emoticon, but there isn't one. sonny, how quick can you use your super admin powers to get us some new emoticons????

Seems like a DVD feature to me!

How to properly count cards would seem like a DVD extra to me and you are wrong on how you count cards. High cards are good for the player so you want them in the shoe not out of the shoe so when you see a 10 or an Ace you go -1 when you see a 2,3,4,5,6 you add plus 1 to the count 7,8,9 are neutral so ignore them.

The production is based of of Mezericks book, which is a fictional tale. Ben is a ****tard. and the movie is just well, a movie.

Are you sure it will be in the final movie?

I've just found out today that in the film they DO show card counting as High Cards +1, Low Cards -1 and to RAISE your bet when the count is HIGH. Outrageous, but also very good for the casinos !!
Do you know for a fact that will be in the movie? I saw the preview where he describes counting that way. But previews are made before the final editing is done. I've seen scenes in coming attractions that are never in the actual movie. Maybe someone caught this before they were done editing, and it won't make the final cut.

I hope it does make the final cut. zg

Wow.. This movie looks terrible.. I think I will take ZG's advice and get a file sharing version.. No one would put up with me pointing out how unrealistic and exaggerated parts in this film are if I were to go to a theatre..

i hope this wrong way to count is in the movie - like ppl pointed out, if stupid ppl go and use an erroneous version without fact-checking, so be it, more money for me to win. additionally, i can already envision some cover-based discussions with PCs about the movie and its incredible, fascinating, and profitable counting method... :joker:

not sure what you guys are talking about, but if you go to the movies website,
http://www.sonypictures.com/movies/21/index.html?hs317=homepage_billboard_3_AM
then go to "enter the site" on the right"
then click on videos, and then clip 2, he describes the HI low, i.e. high cards = -1, low cards = +1

looking forward to the movie, hope they show a good deviation like dbl 10 vs 10 to confuse the hell out of ploppies in the theatre :D
if u click in the little videos about the players under ben's he describes it wrong, but the rest of the areas are correct.
