I NEED HELP with a Black Jack (2 Aces) Basic Strategy!!!

#1
Hello I am from Austria. I live in a small town in austria. In the casino where I go we don't play to 21 points. We play to 22 points. I am not sure, but I think the "Casino Austria AG" bought the Licenses of Black Jack. That means you don't can play everywhere in Austria Black Jack to 21 points, because it's not allowed. I think the game which I play is " 2 Aces". I don't know if anyone of you knows that game. The rules are as for Black Jack, but you don't win when you have 21 points. You win when you have 22 points! The other rules are

the dealer have to buy until 17 points: example when the dealer have 16 points he have to buy another card!

when you have 10,11 or 12 points you can double them

after splitting 2 cards you can also double, but you must have 10, 11 or 12 points

example you have 2 sevens you splitt them an the next card is a 5 (that would be 12 points) you can doulbe that, but when you get a 6 (that would be 13 points) you can not double then.

we do not have a insurance to blackjack

we play with 5 decks

when you have 2 aces you win 2:1

that are the other rurles of this game!!

I search in the Internet for professionally Black Jack gaming, and I always read about a Basic Strategy. My problem is that for my game (2 Aces) I don't find a Strategy.

Can anyone of you help me, or can say me where i find or make such Strategy????????????

I hope my englisch is not to bad!

I have never heard of this before, it sounds very interesting.

With 5 decks there are only 20 aces and you need two of them to get paid 2:1. This will happen something like 1:177 times off the top of the shoe (if my math is correct).

Some things stand out to me:

Getting two aces is much much harder than getting a blackjack, and although the payout is 2:1 this will still not make up for the difference.

The dealer will bust less than in blackjack.

Good luck with finding more info, are there any more interesting rules? How far into the 5 decks are dealt?

However the dealer's strategy does not change despite 22 not busting. Your basic strategy might change to incorporate this, I think this would also add some more to your edge.

Stook?

I have seen a game similar to what you describe. It is/was called "Stook". It still existed at one casino last year. I do not know if it is still around or if anyone else has seen this game.

I cannot remember all the ins and outs of rules and I disregarded it as I could not find any strategy on this game. The premium on the Aces stands out. Also, the dealer does not take an upcard. Both dealer cards are hole cards.

Is this the case of the game in Austria you are playing? Two dealer down cards?

I don't know if I have advantages or disadvantages against the dealer, but where I can find a basic strategy for this game or how do I make a basic strategy????

Is this game hand-shuffled, what is the penetration?

(The % of cards dealt before re-shuffling)

In Western European BJ C.S.M. are ubiquitous.

[Continuous Shuffling Machines are everywhere]
