I can't speak for a few players there but I do know that it was rated A+ by SBR forum and many many people have used their sportsbook without a problem including myself. (Dead link: http://www.sportsbookreview.com/reviews/(insert name of company)/) That said, I just now did some reading and admit that there is some cause for concern.

Which as with Casinomeister is an affiliate portal that interveens for customers when they have issues - ie they make money from referrals and can hardly be considered impartial when it comes to claims against their big paying partners.

Aside from this bias, both of the issues linked to above are currently being investigate by SBR.

And even more - most sportbook customers are pretty much degenerate gamblers (btw i consider anyone who doesn't play with an advantage a degenerate) and view anyone who finds a legitimate way to gain an edge over the house as a cheater. Read through those threads - a lot of the players there feel that not properly testing a game before putting it up (hence putting up an incorrect paytable on VP) as equivalent to one of their desk monkeys getting the odds the wrong way round when putting up a line! One's a typo, the other should have been rigerously tested long before it went live. This means that it's far easier for SBR to justify to it's consumer base an ethically unsound decision for the same reasons that many uneducated casino paterons view CC as cheating - they already have a poorly advised pre-judgement of the situation.

Overall, whether or not their sportsbook is ok, their casino is run by the same people and is abusing it's lack of regulation. If one's dodgy, both are.

So we blackjack APs are cheaters because we've found a way to gain an edge over the house?? In any case, thank you for providing the info.

I think you missed the parentheses when reading RJT's post. (I did the same thing, and had to read it twice to get the meaning straight.)

That's exactly what a lot of gamblers think. The house is always meant to win, to break that cardinal rule is just unnatural lol.

No problems - it's easy to get excited when you find a +EV game off the top online, but in almost all cases it's not nearly as good as it seems. The few times it is however are really good

Even if this were a legit brick and mortar casino, this game would be worthless. Make the edge >.4% and then we'll talk.
Edges a lot smaller than that can be worthwhile online. Automation's a wonderful thing.

Recurring opinion about that place :
This is the NORM at 5XXXX...If player wins claim foul and void winnings
But this is supposed to be an easy pickings for an average Joe to make $17/hr, right? zg

...for a lot of people who are green chippers or make over $17.50/hr it probably is a waste of time but for everyone else, it's an easy way to make some extra dough from home if you're available those hours.

5 D1me5 have been well known for a long time to offer +EV games, they find ways around it. Up till recently they've simply gone for banning anyone who they feel plays those games too much (it really doesn't take a lot of play to get banned). So any potential +EV is going to be very short live at best. But now that they've made a few mistakes and are going down the Betfair route - winners get voided, losers lose.

Well isn't it funny that right after your warnings I had a problem with them. They tried to feed me this BS despite the fact that they had the normal juice lines up for this game.. I was kind of surprised because I've never had problems with them before. Then again, I was mostly using Matchbook in the past.

Trent: Hello. How may I assist you today?
Trent: Have a great day!
Me: Uh Hi Trent
Trent: Hi
Trent: How can I help you today?
Me: I was wondering why the Orioles baseball game isn't showing up under the reduced juice option for MLB
Trent: Let me check into it.
Trent: Will be back with you in just a moment.
Me: ok thanks
Trent: It will be available in around 20 mins.
Me: thanks, just out of curiosity, why wasn't it up now?
Trent: We are working on it I heard.
Trent: Will be up shortly.
Trent: Is there anything else I can assist you with?
Me: I mean did you guys just forget to put it up or was there a system malfunction or what?
Trent: Wagering department is working on it. They said it will be up in a few minutes.
Me: I understand stand what you said but you're not answering my question
Trent: They are checking the sources to make it live as soon as possible. As you know it may vary from a wide variety of factors.
Me: ok so you're telling me then that they're not sure why it wasn't showing up
Trent: What I am telling you is that the line will be live shortly because they are working on the line at the moment.
Trent: Is there anything else I can assist you with?
Me: nope thank you for your honesty ;)

Can they possibly be more evasive???? And for the record, the line still wasn't up 30 mins later.
