Bash Report

The BJ BASH is now finished and I would say it was a great success. There were plenty of exciting incidents and I believe almost everyone left up in the 4 $ digits.

I want to thank all who attended this, what I am sure is for most, a very memorable event.

The skill level, intelligence and dedication of those that attended was amazing as well as their being very professional and polite. The group that attended would take no back seat to any BJ team.

I would like to thank my dear friend Sage Frog and his wife "Y" for their assistance in putting this event on and also to the stunningly skilled DaddyBo
for backing me up when things got very dicey for a time... heat wise. When it comes to everything BJ, DaddyBo has it "Going On".

On a personal note I will always remember with great fondness this particular event and ALL those who attended, there was something very special about it.

To the "Real Deals"

Good times, good players, good discussions, great games! Folks who didn't attend missed out on a lot. It is a damn shame there aren't more casinos like this as it obviously makes a healthy profit, all while hosting easy to beat games. No buy comm. on 4,10 craps, unbelievable pen on BJ, and +ev video poker. Plus I didn't have to hear crap from other people complaining about asian ploppies and dealers as I and PD were the only asians there! Oh and the college girls were a plus too!

Thanks to CP and others for organizing a great bash!

Are you serious?!?

I'm bummed as it is that I missed out on another Bash, let alone a game like that.
Serious as a heart attack. Psyduck, thank you for the kind words, but really, casinos make a ton of money and Bill zender's philosophy on how a casino should be run to maximize profits and not worry so much about APs was utilized here. I mean, it's ironic to learn that deep pen is good for both casinos and counters!

It's just good business practice to keep the ploppies happy. Even a ploppy knows the places that he wins at vs where he loses a lot at.

My mind is still reeling!!!!!

To everbody at the bash,
I mean everybody, wives especially included. One word FANTASTIC!!!!!!!!
Everyone and i mean everyone had an unexpected professionalism, discipline, and huge desire to succeed. I was shocked at the distances that were traveled to attend this Bash.
Daddybo what can i say, you need help you sick bstrd!!!!! LOL CP put on a excellent lesson on Ploppy Acting 101. Your lesson will be utilized i am sure. Sagefrog 5for2 buddy 5for2 !!!!!! Quit trying to voodoo BJ machines. LOL!!!! Homeschool leave the craps table alone at least until you get that lovely bride of yours through vet school. Think bankroll!!!!!!!!! lol.
To the 3 young punks, yes you know who ya are.! Great time. Ya all stick out at the tables like a neon light lite up that says "Possible AP players", get the cameras on them. Naw just kidding LOL Jackblack is the count high enough yet for you sir I believe we are at +7 tc. LOL Loosen up a little my friend:)
Dragon, the quiet one, we all need to be careful of him. I say you are more of a rattle snake ready to strike at anytime. Not afraid of any table for sure.
These are some of my observations of the goings on at the bash. What an assortment of Players.
Before i forget i hope there are no videos of this event. This was a very nice organized casino, that has a little bit of stuff for all AP players. I wish we could personally thank them for their hospitality and game assortment. Let us all not take this place for granted. They are truely few and far inbetween.
I especially liked the group play . 7 APs utilizing 2 tables side by side and no heat!!! Crazy i tell ya. Welllll except for that one Hero idiot that had his suspicions about dragon and marty. LOL , but was blind to the others.
Another incident was Dean being barred from cutting the cards!! LOL Yea that will help. LOL
Well all, i made it back to the farm, this morning. I didn't make it back last night. You guys tired me out ,3 hour maybe four hours of sleep a night for those 3 days killed me. I am going to take a long rest today and happily relive the weekend.
Again thanks to all . I think i included everyone in this post, if not well dammit i'm tired. CP and Sagefrog thanks for letting me attend.
To everybody i am sure we will do something together in my line of work, down the road. In the mean time i will be practicing your line of expertise.

Take care all

HA! in my defense, I was pushing the limits to see what would happen. Actually, that entire morning, I was more talkative and gave reasons as to why I didn't want to play to the dealer. I said stuff like, "I can't believe you guys took out double deck. I'm gonna wait till the shoe looks like 2 decks and then start playing" or "I wanna see if this is a good shoe or not"

The dealer was kinda joking and smiling when he asked me if the count wasn't high enough for me to play. Plus, I went through an entire shoe and reshuffle and didn't play a hand.

yea, I don't know what it was, but I wasn't my usual ploppy acting self while I was there. probably cuz I had been drinking 2 nights in a row prior to the bash, and I wanted to act professionally when meeting everyone for the first time. I should've came back and hit on that college girl that sitting with D bo and CP, but I finally found a table with a decent TC. I'm a nerd, picked a good shoe over a girl.

Hey, it was a blast to meet and play with all of you. Sorry to anyone I didn't get to say goodbye too; I took down a last-minute "big" win in the same pit (with the same boss) that I was spreading 1:50 in the night before and figured I'd better hit the road while the going was good.

The casino was certainly a rare treat, and playing 4 counters at a table without heat was unbelievable. I'm surprised it took me as long to get heat as it did! They're certainly a progressively-minded place.

Jack Black, I didn't get a chance to actually met you, but I have to apologize for giving you a hard time at the table with CP and Daddybo for not sitting in. I had no idea you were planning on wonging that shoe! I gave up my plans on wonging the second I looked at the pit (and pen!!), and it didn't occur to me that I was cramping your style. Next time, we'll play a few shoes.

Again, it was fantastic meeting all of you and I'll see you at the next Bash!

Ready for next year already.....

Homeschool leave the craps table alone at least until you get that lovely bride of yours through vet school. Think bankroll!!!!!!!!! lol.
Yeah my take for the weekend would have been much more impressive had I just taken a nap when it was busy instead of killing time at the craps table. :p

I took down a last-minute "big" win in the same pit (with the same boss) that I was spreading 1:50 in the night before and figured I'd better hit the road while the going was good.
That's gotta be my favorite memory of the whole weekend. To bring everyone up to speed, Lonesome Gambler and I had not yet been formally introduced, although he had been pointed out to me. So I'm just sitting there playing heads up when he sits down and starts spreading like crazy! Almost instantly a pit boss appears over to his left, then another to his right. Then pit boss #2 is talking to the floor manager. All the while I proceed to sit back and flat bet one hand to watch the magic happen. Priceless, just freaking priceless.....

yea, I don't know what it was, but I wasn't my usual ploppy acting self while I was there...... I wanted to act professionally when meeting everyone for the first time.
As another one of the less experienced participants (especially considering the company we were in) I'll second that. Sorry if I at any time appeared anti-social or not wanting to participate, I was just wanting to be very cautious not to step on anyones toes. Not having played or been at a casino with other counters before, I wanted to be very cautious not to seem over eager to observe anyone else's play or to play at the same table.

It was definitely a huge help to learn that a good ploppy act is exactly what I thought it would be. CP really has that one down, just jammin along with the music.....

Daddy Bo we need to get us one of those fancy new card counting phones that dealer was telling us all about

Sorry I had to arrive late and leave early. It was awesome to meet everyone in person. What a great time.

Thanks to everyone.

Let me explain to all Machinist is a true slot and VP AP with many years at his trade. He is very hard nosed and dedicated to his trade. It was nice having him there to explain and tell stories about his trade and experiences.

I hope he did not feel out of place with us BJ AP's, but he should know we were very happy to have him and he was very usefull being in the back ground and at times relaying pit info regarding heat.

We will also welcome him at future events.
