Single Zero Roulette in Las Vegas ?

My wife, who has been to LV many times, told me recently that the only place she has found a single zero (French) roulette wheel was in Paris, and that this carried a relatively high table min. All other roulette games on the strip were double zero games (which put 6/5 blackjack in the shadows on the house edge rip-off scale).

Can any of the LV residents tell me if this is the case now, and where we can find single zero roulette tables on the strip.

Many thanks.

Apparently, there are 21 single zero wheels in Las Vegas.

Bellagio
Two wheels are located in the Baccarat room in Pit 6. At least one runs 24 hours.
Caesars Palace
Two wheels: One on the main casino floor and one in the high-limit area. Hours vary.
Golden Nugget
One wheel in high-limit area that hasn't been used in a while. It can be opened on request for known players with a very high credit limit.
Las Vegas Hilton
One wheel in the high-limit room. Open upon high-roller request and during major conventions and special events.
Luxor
One wheel in the high-limit room open on weekends only.
Mandalay Bay
Two wheels in the Baccarat room open 24 hours. One wheel on the casino floor open weekends only.
MGM Grand
Two wheels: one in the high-limit area of the main casino and one in The Mansion. Both are open basically 24 hours (could be closed for cleaning at times, though).
Mirage

There are lots more single zero roulette games in Vegas. Many casinos have an electronic lot machine type roulette machine- not Rapid Roulette, but a single player stand alone machine. These work great if you are playing even money betys- red, black, odd, even. They mostly only pay 32-1 on a single number, although some pay 34-1, and one pays 35-1.
Just check the pay table before you play. Harrahs gives 1 reward credit for every $20 played, as opposed to 1 per $5 or $6 on a slot.

Yes . . . I would grab Mrs N's handbag and leggit if she headed off in the direction of that game!
Yup! It's the same odds as if the house were hole carding you, and then some.

Only if you are playing single numbers. Play the even money bets and it's a great game. Perhaps the best game in Vegas for churning free play through.

I don't know about churning free play through. The even money or line bet has a 2.7% House Advantage. When the zero comes up you lose your even money bet. The casinos generally have a higher minimum for line bet. So if it is 4 times higher than the inside bet you lose the same amount of money.

Wrong. But keep thinking that way.
