Crown Casino Premier Blackjack

Hey Guys! I'm new to the site and just really hoping to see how people have done here in Australia playing skilled BJ. I have known the craft for a few years now, but haven't really had the time to implement it until recently. I guess it would have been wiser to try it earlier when it wasn't uncommon to find a $10 8 deck S17 shoe game at Crown Casino!

I have collated a small team of four together, and plan to hit Crown's Premier BJ rooms, such as the Maple room and Monte Carlo room. I still find these games to be beatable, despite many claiming that nothing in Australia is beatable anymore. This is perhaps true for the normal gaming floors of most casinos, including Crown, however, all hope is not lost. The only downside is that the minimum is $30.

I believe Crown will never turn to CSM's in such rooms, as the big gamblers (predominantly Asians), would leave in their droves. So as long as this cohort of gamblers keeps feeding the coffers of the Packer family, counting at Crown is safe.

So has anyone attempted to count in these Premier BJ rooms? And if so, how did you fare? Our team has done three trial runs just to see where our skills are at, and managed to take $2,500 in the process. We plan to finalise training soon before we begin to make some serious trips over to Crown.

It should be fine as long as you have a decent bankroll/RoR. But considering you have 4 people who should pool together their bankrolls, I guess that should be fine. Do you plan on spreading or wonging?

I had a look at the maple room too and I can't see how anything would change if you played there.
I've heard though, that you can double any two card though, confirm?
It would help as a disguise if any of you guys are Asian too. It's so common for Asian's to do odd plays, including their bets too.

What's your bankroll?

What does the gorilla/big player do while they are waiting? Do they backcount other tables?

Also how many $30 tables are there in the maple room? And anyone can play in there right?

We have a floating BR, pooling money together for each trip. The spotters are the only back counters for now. They act as if they know each other, and are walking around acting curious. They pretend not to know the Gorilla and Big Player at all, so we exercise great discretion when signaling or passing information about the shoes. The Gorilla and Big Player also appear to know each other, however, they wait around at the other games such as roulette, pretending to be interested in those.

Anyone can play in the Maple or Monte Carlo rooms, I enjoy the atmosphere more there too. And they only have 5 boxes, so you wont find too much card eating on high true counts. Generally only 2-3 boxes are in play at any given time. There are 8 BJ tables in total, 5 $30 tables, 2 $50 tables, and a $100 table.

I managed to make $1500 in about 10 minutes heads up at the $50 table one night.

How to you tell them what the count is? It's easy to signal them to come play. Like do you have codewords similar to '21' or does one spotter say to the other "Hey does Pauls party next week end at 11?"

And so the big player isn't counting? He is just getting the true count from how much the gorilla bets? Because it would be stupid to not tell him the count somehow as he should be using indices

Will do! What preparation do you think we still need to work on? The signaling I discussed earlier or the betting by the Gorilla and Big Player?

I'd assume they don't have the bankroll to all play and spread efficiently. Remember it's a $30 minimum.

Need to plan out your whole communication and cover/act

Blikius is correct, we do not have the funds to do that. Part of the whole process is utilising a covert team, to reduce heat. If we all counted and played separately we might as well do so on our own accord, rather than as a team.

Our final stages of preparation will be occurring over the next two weeks where we will be discussing team communication and signaling.

If you were all doing it separately, why the hell wouldn't you be a team and split profits according to home many hours each person played.

Essentially you will just be playing so many more hands with so much of a larger bank roll. More hands will mean less variance and a more stable profit.

Well we are doing it as a team and splitting profits. We have also been approached by people willing to invest in us, however, we would get a 25% greater cut merely because we are actually doing all the work.

Are you suggesting we all back count and play separately and then split the profits at the end of the night as opposed to the way in which we are doing it now?

Run some sims maybe but yeah it would be possible. If you have investors and have enough EXTRA profit to pay the investors their cut then still have more profit then your current technique. Then you have to consider the risk of being caught and various heat and such.

You current play will still bring in a considerable profit though

We have done many practice runs at home and so far so good. Some trials we lost in excess of $1000 but two shoes in a row we won $4000 and then $5000, simply by sticking to our betting strategy. We also have Casino Verite software which is great to practice with. And like i said initially, our trial runs have netted $2,500 so we have a slight buffer already.

Unsecret game plan

Nice reading, you guys; with your open, honest and naively trusting full disclosure of your game plan, strategy and intentions.

I'm on your side 100% dudes, but if I was you, I would immediately delete most of your posts, (you have five days from date of post) or at least edit the obviously sensitive parts. The two of you can continue your conversation on PM, can't you?

BTW, in case you didn't know, there is a wealth of experience and know-how available right here on this site, (concerning your exact interest) from many who might be only too willing to help. The squeaky axle gets the grease... May the force be with you guys. ;)

Yeah that crossed my mind a few times, but we haven't said anything about our appearance or time we are going, how much we will cash in etc. Any of the details that are easily seen by casino staff

Yes good luck to them finding four random people in Australia's largest casino. All we have described is typical of any counter involved in team play. What do you feel is particularly sensitive? I will remove it.

Did you know Andrew Scott? He would most assuredly have advised you to keep mum about any of your plans.;)
