Hi all. I was wondering if anyone knows the cost in E.V. on splitting aces when the possible resulting BJ only counts as 21, and even if this makes a difference to basic strategy decisions. I had a good look through Wong's Basic Blackjack and D.S's Blackjack Attack but couldn't find any references to this awful U.K. rule. I can only assume in the U.S. that Bj means BJ even after splitting Aces. I certainly don't know how to do the calculations and would be very graeful if anyone could enlighten me.
Thanks in advance.
