Which are the best casinos in san diego, have best odds for blackjack? I am going to be spending a lot of time down there in next couple of months, i was wondering which casinos offer best games. I allready went to Vijehas casino this week, and it was good. Thay had a single deck game 15 min that i thought it was preety good, end up winning. If anybody has any more insides that would be great. Thanks!!!!

Viejas's single deck game only pays 6:5 on a blackjack, it's a horrible scam.

Lowest house edge for a basic strategy player would be:

High roller: Barona's single deck ($100 or $100 minimum)

Medium Roller: Barona double deck ($25 and $50 minimums)

Lower Roller: Barona, Valley View, and Pala 6D games ($5-$15 minimums).

Viejas's most common game is an 8D shoe game, H17, no surrender. Probably the worst rules in town (except for the travesties of 6:5 games)

Wasn't paying attention to that 6:5 game at vijehas, didn't know it was paying 6:5 but anyways won money mostly on that 6:5 single deck game, and you are right about that 8 deck game it's horrible, any information on sycaun casino was there about 8 months ago and what i remember the games were mostly 6 or 8 deck and some double deck, any thing changed since there. So my best bet would be Barona!!!

Sycuan's games are mostly 6D. Theres some medium roller DD tables ($25). Rules are the same, H17, DAS, no surrender (faily poor).

Oh, and Golden Acorn out in imperial county might offer a S17 game, which would be decent from a house edge perspective, but I haven't been there in a long time. It's kind of dinky.

Note that my opinion of the "best" game is just for a basic strategy player, not for counting (where things like penetration and heat are so important).

Does anyone know if the Soboba casino's single deck is a legitimate 3-2 single deck?
Been sometime since I was at Soboba but it was 3/2 with poor pen, a $100 max and limited doubling options.

Since they converted their double deck and six deck games to H-17, I have not been back.
