Ace cut

#1
Hello everybody,

i'm just dealing with the ace cuts. I saw the clips of Semyon Dukach on youtube, where he explained this technique. But there is on e thing i don't understand: Assume i can cut 60 cards perfectly (actually my deviation is -0.1 cards when i do it 1000 times). Assume furthermore the Ace is the 60th card from the top of the deck. I'm sitting in first position and would like to steer the Ace to that hand or to my second hand. How many cards should be left in the round before the ace comes out, just before the dealer has to draw? I know a bj hand has 2.7 cards on average, so it's likely that the dealer has to draw one card, but sometimes he doesn't and sometimes he will have to draw even 2 or three cards, so that the ace will land at the dealer's hand instead of mine. So how many cards should be left? 1,2?

Greetings from Germany and sorry for my terrible English

Perhaps you wrote this wrong. You will not have that kind of accuracy in a casino so be careful not to overestimate your advantage.
Assume the dealer will pull a card. If you play two hands you are fine. Remember with a bust card he must pull (H17) so assuming two cards is fine.

Does anybody know of another DVD that teaches ace cutting and shuffle tracking? I have the Seymon DVD but I don't understant him. His English is not very clear. I prefer DVD learning instead of a book. Thank you.

cant you just cut an ace to say...an accuracy of less than 1/2 deck, and still play at an advantage? I dont think you need laser accruacy if you know the location of an Ace and have a cut card in your hand. Sure theres an obvious bonus and a huge potential for an edge if your super crazy accurate, I just dont think its neccessary.

I am pretty positive that if you put one extra ace in 1/4-1/3 deck of cards, and place a bet when those cards are coming out of the shoe, your playing at an advantage.

I sure as hell hope so because I do this like all the time.

Dear Turing, just a quick pointer. I really hope that your email address is not indicative of your real name. Should you ever become a good AP, then having your real name posted on an AP forum would be a real threat to your career.

I know of at least one AP who was busted like that!

Good luck to you (und mit freundlichem Gruss!)!

Definitely do not post your real name on a blackjack forum or let your forum handle get linked to any social networking pages you may have.

Farretnparrot, I personally wouldnt do any cuts unless i was 100% accrurate, just for the fact that if im off by one and i planned on steerng the ace to my last hand then it would go to the dealer. In which case the house would then have that advantage.

Hi Turing, I know you posted this a while ago, but would you happen to have links to those clips on youtube where Semyon Dukach talks about cutting to an ace? Thanks!
