I see that CV has been cracked and is available as a free download:

They need to stamp out software piracy :eyepatch:

The creator of Casino Veritas (QFIT) regularly posts on these forums. I have not heard anyone say a bad word about his software. If you want to use it, you should pay for the service.

As a customer, I feel the link should be removed.

Sorry for any offence caused. CV is excellent and users should pay for it.

I don't think removing the link will work in as much as anyone with an ounce of wit will find cracked versions within a matter of seconds on the Internet.

The risk with these crack sites is with the chance of your PC being hijacked. Its not worth it.

As I posted with the Amazon link, there are reasonably priced, legitimate second hand copies available.

I think an 18 year old could get away with playing £25/50 a unit if he looked the part - expensively dressed, decent watch, subtle but expensive jewellery and a decent set of wheels in the car park. In effect, a picture of a kid from a pretty wealthy family. Problem with all of this is though that there'll be a greater risk of getting mugged outside than there will in being debarred from the BJ table! ! ! !

This might work, but how would a 18 year old manage to get expensive clothing, a decent watch, subtle but expensive jewellery and a decent set of wheels in the car park. If you could do this, then you wouldn't just look the part, you would actually be the part.. a rich kid from a very wealthy family

Anyway, welcome, hope you learn a lot, are you from around Europe?

Ever heard of snides? I wouldn't think that a fake Rolex, some costume paste and a few dodgy labels would be too difficult to rustle up. As for the wheels, rent one for the evening, or if that's too expensive make a point of asking one of the hospitality staff to call for a cab at the end of the evening. Ojh, and it does help if the membership address provided isn't the 12th floor of some block on a sink housing estate - that might just give it away?

Someone I use to work with use to own a genuine Rolex worth in the region of six grand. He made no attempt to keep it covered whilst working in one of the less well off parts of London, and said he had been told that none of the local trolls went after them anymore, as in 99 cases out of 100 it wasn't worth running the risk of getting caught trying to fence one. All that glisters is not gold ?

Cheers.

PS - am just starting out on my (very amateur) career playing Blackjack in the UK. Fascinated by the maths, and am still looking at the numbers around an AP system my poor brain can cope with.

No need to apologize. Its the thought that counts.

The whole link was rogue and filled with malicious backdoors, that would would cause system crashes in no time, if you attempted to download those massive files onto your harddrive.

Hey guys, thanks for the welcome :)

Re the pen, this means how many decks are played before the dealer shuffles, right?

If so, then she shuffles when there's what looks like half a deck or two thirds of a deck remaining in the shoe.

What is considered a good pen?

This sounds good considering you are playing with 4 decks. 87% pen i get. Usual penetration is from 50% to 90% average about 70%. So you got a good game, keep us up to date on how things work out

Hey, yeah agree it's a good game. I'm going there again tomorrow. But this time with the no hole card BS.

Do you know anywhere in London that does a hole card game?

No sorry, not been around London much. You tried the Ritz? I'm guessing that has a hole card..
Haven't tried the Ritz but thanks for the tip, will check it out. The table min there is probably £50 tho!

So I'm back from the casino and won £30 flatbetting £5 with a BR of £100. Lowest swing was -£60 and time was 3 hrs. I just got really nervous and had to stop once I was £30 up.

Got some nice comps though.
