"Oh, is that how you do it"

I remembered this story today in a time where I was a pure BS player.

At the Luxor I had lost $600 playing nothing but reds.. Min betting 15.. I was losing everything.. Almost every hand. Splits, Doubles, Splits and Doubles were all being dominated by dealer 21's,20's, and BJs.

Pissed off with only 1 black left in my hand and 200 in cash I walk over to the high limit $100 min table.. I bought in for the 200 and put down my black leaving me with 3 chips.. I forgot weather this was an SD or DD game but with 3 blacks I managed to win my first 13 hands in a row. My last hand I pushed with a 20 and decided I was happy with my winnings so I decided to leave.. I was playing heads up and took that table for $1300 in less than 5 minutes.

The dealer hands over a yellow,purple, and black chip. Just as I pick up my chips the PB comes over and angrily says "Oh, is that how you do it?". I chuckled and said "yeah".

I sat down with my remaining $1200 at $100 min table. In a single 6 deck shoe that I played heads up, I left with $9000. I lost twice and pushed once, won the rest. I basically doubled my bet everytime I won until i was betting $1500/ hand.

Which actually leads me to a question.... Obviously the count was pretty high and started coming down near the end. Would I get more heat if I left before the shoe was up versus the end of the shoe (say it returned to 0, which it didnt) - ideas anyone? I frequent this casino often and they know who I am.

I cant remember if a PB was there counting with me or not....luckily i was betting more cause I was winning, not counting ... so they thought.
